I'll bet watching! This is the last show of the NY season but next week is the renunion! Yeah! Looking forward to both. I'm really looking forward to the Jersey women. From the preview Bravo showed...could be some real *crazy* coming from that bunch.

It's competely against my nature that I find this show so facinating, but I would't miss an episode if my very life depended upon it. I dish record it and watch it in private where nobody can see me, most especially my husband. But, even so, I find myself embarrassed at the real pleasure I get from watching it even alone in a darkened room. After all, my dog can see me. And she judges.

I can't wait for the New Jersey women to get going. I've watched the teaser show three times already and will probably watch it again before the series actually begins. Both these shows are far preferable to the Orange County series. Yes, I watched them all, too. My deep and dark secret.

All hope for me is lost. I'm doomed.

Simon continues to creep me out in a huge way - those pants (if that is what they were?!?) - I swear, when I look at him I feel like I could catch something by just landing my eyes on him....'creepy gross'.

My favorite part was when Romana enters the apt. for the charity meeting and she goes to pretend kiss - as her cheek hit cheek, her puckered lips actually MOVED TO THE RIGHT of her face in order not to touch anything! I kept rewinding it to watch and laughing - I guess one must protect one's lip gloss at any cost ;)

It was not as dramatic as I was hoping for. Yes, I loved the scene of Ramona's pretend kiss. Now that she has complained about her armpit issues, I somehow keep focused there.

Simon is one of the creepiest men on tv. I think the grossest thing this season was him getting the massage in the Hamptons.....ICK!!!!! But then again I kept watching, so what the heck is wrong with me.

The reunion previews sure look good.

Drats!!!! I fell asleep. Slept through the DWS show and this one. I know there will be reruns and I'll eagerly look for them just to see what the heck Simon had on. I did see Jill on a talk show and she said something about the reunion show getting so heated and the taping was so long , that there will be two episodes. What did you-all think of Alex & Simon's redecorated apt? I thought the place looked like a cat house. Dottie

I missed it somehow, so I'll have to catch the reruns. They play often, so that won't be a problem. Simon really bugs me, and he looked terrible that time he thought Alex's surprise was ruined.

I love all the Housewife shows, whether it's NY, OC or Atlanta, and I'm not usually one that gets into tv shows. I watch each episode more than once.

I think I've figured out the appeal. Those people have way too much money and can have basically anything they want. They also say anything they want to each other, whether it's nice, mean, true or a lie. We normal people just aren't brought up to be like that. LOL Notice I included all of "us" as being normal. :)

Yes, Simon makes me want to gag but not as much as his wife. Someone needs to feed them both a calorie filled meal and discipline their little mean boys. LOL

I can't believe I watched every single week, every single moment. The first season of HWNY I thought I was going to hurl...but for some strange (or sick) reason I really liked this season! I can't wait for the reunion shows.

That dance that Simon and Ramon did at the end; I thought I would die laughing!! But what the heck it looks like they became friends (of a sort). His pants...and those pointy shoes, yikes he could hurt someone with those.

I have a feeling I'll be watching the New Jersey gals. One of them looks like the bride on one of the wedding shows (Bridezillas etc.). It wasn't long ago, just a week ago (a rerun) and she was marrying an Italian with lots of money.

Anyway, I guess my summer watching will be like reading a "beach novel".

Susan - The blonde from New Jersey Housewives was on an episode of Platinum Weddings a year or two ago. I recently saw it on a rerun too. It was at the family owned Brownstone and no expense spared. In the episode she talks about her fiance's frequent infidelity and had her fingers crossed he would stay faithful in the marriage. She also said she never spends any time with him, which I see she also said in the NJ preview.

I am too addicted I confess....I don't get to always watch the first run but I do catch the overs and overs and overs LOL Simon is plain nasty....he sooo grossed me out getting his massage.....soooo nasty and yes I too contiuned to watch so guess I am so gross and nasty LOL

I slept through last nights show, and just caught a re-run of it........WHAT ! was Simon wearing/?? were the pants sequins or patent leather. That guy is just too strange. His wife seems more down to earth, but is a major social climber. I wonder if they will do another season of the NY gals. Dottie

Mammie, I think you are onto something. In my Grandmother's day, people would go to the traveling carnivals and pay to see the "freak show" consisting of poor unfortunates who had physical deformities -

These days, we will pay (cable bill) to see beautiful people act like freaks. Really, these people act freaky, to me. However, on the whole, they are a lot less this way than the Orange County ho's - Those women were just incredible in every single way that is not good *LOL* Some of the New Yorkers have some redeeming value to their lives.

I agree with you about Simon's wife, in her own way, she is equally creepy to me, too.

It's not just that is is really too thin, she doesn't have any real muscle definition at all despite having so little body fat and somehow looks "marshmallow soft" to me in a "ick" way. Bethany is too thin also, but she has good muscle tone and looks healthy -

Simon's wife:her coloring is so mono - everything about her is that single washed out blonde color - ugh. You would think that someone would have gotten ahold of her and given her "color" advice about her hair/makeup by now. I think she could lose a lot of the "creepy" reaction if she did.

From that little preview of the New Jersy women, they scare the heck outta me. One wrong word and I think I would find myself in the trunk of a car, to be buried (alive?) at a landfill. They wouldn't interrupt their husbands to have them do the dirty work because (God forbid) the income might slow down during those few hours it would take to beat and get rid of me.

This would be a job they would cheerfully take on themselves.

I'm surprised that as style conscious as Alex and Simon claim to be, she always looks so disheveled. Everytime I see her, I blurt out "Come your hair". Their kids always appear messy as well. Last season they were constantly covered in chocolate.

LOL Mylab123, I totally agree with you, New Jersey girls scare the heck out of me, escpecially the older sister. She would have been great on the Soprano's.

I watched on Tuesday night and thought it was a good ending to the season.

I guess I'm the only one here who is not grossed out by Simon. I don't mind him and I thought his outfit was very interesting. He looked like he was wearing an outfit that John Lennon or Ringo Starr wore back in the late 60s, early 70s. No big deal to me. I see both Simon and Alex as being very different and, that's OK. They add to the diversity.

I thought the charity event was interesting, loud and a bit more raucous than I would have expected. I guess if you pay that much to attend a party, you feel you can act anyway you want.

The fight between Jill and Bethenny was interesting. I thought Bethenny was way wrong, trying to discuss the signage issue in the middle of the event. Surley she could see that Jill was nervous and off the wall already...not at all the right time. But, Jill stood her ground and in the end, Bethenny backed down. What is it with Bethenny? I like her, but that was the 3rd major confrontation she has been involved in this season. I guess she likes being in the middle of drama. She also has very thin skin.

The 'conversation' between Kelly & Bethenny was also interesting. I think they were talking about two different issues. Kelly was talking about the 'Madonna' comment at the charity meeting and Bethenny was talking about the first confrontation at the Bar. Until they single out the issues and discuss them one at a time, they will never get together. I don't mind Kelly. I felt she was a bit out of context for most of this season, but I don't dislike her.

Ramona is still a idiot.

I look forward to the reunion next week. It will be interesting to get the updates...Alex lost her job, The Countess is now in the middle of a divorce and Bethennys book is on the New York Times Best Sellers list. Oh...and Kelly was arrested for assault. What else will we learn?

I knew someone who, after behaving badly and being called on it, would pretend ignorance.

"What? Me? What are you talking about, you are in la-la land". I saw her do this twice and then glommed onto the fact that this is how she avoided confrontation about her bad behavior. She pretended it never happened so then the reaction couldn't be her fault.

I see this with Kelly, I wonder if this is how she handles being confronted - it's never what she did, it's the other guy.

Only.....they got it on tape *LOL*

It will take another season to see what she is really made of and I look forward to it.

Jill and daughter are the only two I could have a real conversation with, I believe. Not so much a connection, but a conversation where I didn't feel like I was talking to an alien from outer space.

Even Bethanny, though I kind of like her, there is no frame of reference to her or to the rest of them at all, although I think Bethanny is very funny.

The Countess just irritates me endlessly. I can take Romana easier than I can take The Countess - who won't get to be The Countess anymore once the signature on that divorce paper has landed on the dotted line.

I almost feel sort of sorry for her over that, being The Countess was how she defined herself for her whole adult life. It would be hard to suddenly be just another woman in her own mind, I should think. I think she will land on her feet and maybe be a better person for it.

I like the Countess best. I read though, that she will be allowed to keep her title, and she is deciding if she will or not. That surprised me, so I'm not sure if the information was correct.

I like Bethanny too, and I also think she is very funny. I don't have a problem with Jill, but I really don't have patience for Alex or Ramona.
