LOL...I watched the OC ones this last season. I tried to get into the NY one but it just wasn't the same and I don't have time to follow it now. I did see the first show of NY though....and still try to catch peices of it, but I can't seem to follow it this time. The OC ones grabbed me and I found myself caught up in it! My neice got me started! I do think Alex and Simon are creepy and wondered why and how they fit in with these other people!!!

I TIVO all of them. I actually like the Orange County ones the best. I can't stand Tamra. Anybody that would try on lingerie for their husband on national TV has some major insecurity problems in my book. NY, I just can't like these girls. Bethany and Jill are okay, but the rest are just so full of themselves. Yes Simon and Alex are creepy and their kids are following in the foot steps. I don't like the Atlanta ones at all. They are all about the money-it seems like to them nothing else matters.
Regardless of all the negative things I have said here, I still watch every episode-what can I say, I am a reality TV junkie.

I watch the NYC version too. Have to agree about Alex and Simon being creepy. It will be interesting to see how this season unfolds against the backdrop of the financial meltdown. Will they be able to cut back on their ridiculous spending? Oh the suspense! LOL

I've never caught the NY version showing. I watch the OC sometimes but don't follow it closely. Strange lifestyle and I don't think I'd be happy if I were rich and had to do the things that they do (& act the way they do).

What ever happened to the Atlanta one? Did they clean up the train wreck?

OK, ok, ok...I confess...I watch The Real Housewives.

I have watched OC from the start but this season was just a little over the edge for me. Tamra and Vickie brought that entire show into the gutter. Are those two women really that base, mean, dumb, insecure, crazy or, was it just the way Bravo edits their shows? Which ever, they were an embarresment to themselves, their famlies and, to Women everywhere.

I enjoyed the first NY season even if Ramona was an idiot. I like Jill & Bethany. I don't think Alex and Simon are creepy, just different. You can tell that Simon did not grow up in the US. The Countess is just full of herself but, harmless. Not crazy about the new one. So far this season, Ramona is still an idiot.

I did not watch the entire Atlanta season so I can't comment on that one.

I watch them all :) It's hard to say which one I like better. I thought the OC reunion show was explosive, what Tamara did to Gretchen was wrong, no need to call her out like that. My favorite is Jeanna beause she tries to remain neutral. Lynne needs to wise up and get control of her girls. I had never heard of "naked wasted" before lol learned something new.

NY gals are a fun bunch to watch. I like Jill and Bethenny. Bethenny's one liners are hysterical. Ramona is growing on me, funny that her 12 year old daughter has more common sense than she does. The countess has a massive ego, I can't quite warm up to her. The new girl seems cold. Alex and Simon are a bit odd. Not sure I have ever seen a shot of their boys without chocolate smeared all over their faces. I can do without seeing Simon in a Speedo.

I often read the blogs on BravoTV written by each housewife and the responses from viewers.

I am hooked. I love the OC but thought Tamera was just cruel and mean.
I am starting to really like the New York show. It has taken me while to get into it.
I watched one or two episodes of the Atlanta season and just couldn't do it.

I keep up with most of the Housewives franchises, more OC and NYC than Atlanta so far. They repeat the episodes enough that eventually I manage to see them all.

I don't think the new NY gal adds much to the mix. So far I find her to be a bit of a bore. The rest are interesting, even the ones I don't like. I think Alex and Simon are pretentious but not creepy. I think they'd be a cute little family if they could just accept themselves for what they are. I like to imagine that they drop all the airs behind the scenes - instead of Francois and Johan maybe they really call their kids Frankie and Johnny LOL.

I have, much to my complete embarrassment, watched OC and NY. I think I like NY much better - OC has become a train wreck and I have to wonder if a lot of "acting" is now being done. I mean, who could be that completely AWFUL. Or, in Vicki's case, completely loud, crude and desperate for the worst kind attention?

In Tamara's case, so completely cruel and really - she is not "the hot one" - the fact that she demands to be makes her a cruel and a rather pathetic aging woman who doesn't know when her arc of youth is well behind her.

And, OMG, the kids of these people. I know some people from that area and everyone there doesn't spring from the orange tree as that grasping group of women, I promise you *LOL*

NY women seem to be much more 'real' even if they, too, are a bunch of oddballs. But - who would watch if they didn't put on a show for the viewers? And, these women are willing to be on TV for the world to see, so they aren't going to be normal or average. Which, of course, is why we all watch.

At least most of the "chest apparel" seems to be "nature provided" on this one - except for maybe Bethanny's - her clevage does seem to be a little false, but she is a really gorgeous girl who might be sporting a hard working push up bra - but if it's false, she did it right. Not too much for her frame.

The "soul mate" couple, Alex and Simon .... are they for real? They make me feel icky after I've seen them in an episode. And yes, please spare the speedo, please. Double ick. Alex needs some color in her hair or face, it's all one color to me. This is not an attractive couple in any sense of the word.

Jill seems to be the most "real" of the bunch to me, Bethanny the kindest.

The Countess needs to get a life. A real one.

I agree with Fran - how is the financial train wreck we are in as a nation going to play with these two shows? The excess of both shows will have to be addressed, the days of conspicious consumption are now behind us, eventually nobody will want to see that stuff, even on tv. How they cope will make it even better television, I believe.

I started by watching NY, and then a few old episodes of OC. I liked NY better. I do not like Alex and Simon, they are so pretentious! Did you see their home when they had a party for one of their kids? I was a wreck! I didn't really care for Atlanta.
