OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, you're the best. Had to take DH to his eye Dr. appointment in Springfield yesterday, a 200 mi. round trip in the rain. :( The temps had dropped and both of us came home cold and had to turn the heat on after having days with all windows open. Stopped by a local Chinese restaurant and got takeout to bring home to eat. DD and her DH are taking me and DH to eat Friday night for my birthday. Had birthday money given to me so while in Springfield bought a few plants to try and brighten up the yard a tad. So, my day was a good one I thought, even if I was chilly all day.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I was out of town and just now trying to catch up on all the posts I've missed.

I hope each of you has a truly happy day. H a p p y B i r t h d a y ! Shirley
