Vacation planning is DONE!

We're leaving in a few weeks for our 2+ week trip to the northeast, and I spent the weekend assembling a 3-ring binder with road maps for each day, info about the places we'll be stopping (ticket prices, hours, phone numbers, etc.).

I know we could spend longer seeing and doing things if we had unlimited time, but we don't--so this will be a "see the highlights" trip. Besides, DH really enjoys just driving and seeing the countryside, so it's a good thing I planned some days with lots of "road time." :-) I've made the trip before, but I'm excited to go do it all again!

We are not allowing ourselves to freak out (too much)about the price of gas, food, lodging, etc. We choose to feel like we are doing our part to "stimulate the economy" *LOL!* and it's a trip we'll always remember.

We'll go to:

Arlington Cemetery

Washington DC (just the National Mall)

NYC (day tour on a bus)

Sturbridge MA outdoor museum

LL Bean Hunting & Fishing Store in Freeport ME

Bar Harbor ME (we'll be there two days)

Waterbury VT (Ben & Jerry's)

Burlington VT (ferry across Lake Champlain)

Adirondack Park NY

Baseball Hall of Fame (Cooperstown)

Niagara Falls

Covered bridge drive through western PA

Cincinnati Reds baseball game
