What should I have in my laundry room?
Comments (5)Sink if you can, trash can, a line or rod to hang clothes. a folding area (counter or a table) if you have room. shelves or cabinets for products. good bright lighting helps. my area is in a basement and is not as nice as a main floor room but I have a cabinet, a bright light over my work area, lines to hang clothes, and a trash can next to the dryer. I have a small island counter that a builder put a very small dent in the top of at a friends house that going to put legs on and use for a folding table. I got that for free and am going to make use of it instead of it going to the trash....See MoreWhat colour should I paint the cabinets in my studio apt. I like the i
Comments (6)The cabinets look to be in very good condition. I wouldnt be painting them. I would be buying accessories in some colors and maybe an area rug on the table, and get some pretty curtains, or some type of window treatment to give it a personality. Right now, it looks like a nice kitchen in a house where no one lives....See MoreWhat color should I paint my great room?

They're coordinating colours to Stone Lion on their website and look similar in "undertone" to the print in your navy floral fabric (on my monitor at least). What colour is your trim? You don't "need" to go light but light walls and dark furniture often offer a pleasing contrast. It's personal preference, really. (I would have difficulty choosing a wall colour without seeing all the furniture in place in the room.)...See MoreWhat color SW paint should i use to paint my brick fireplace?
Comments (1)Is there a reason you want to paint the brick? It is because you're chasing the all-white look? Or is the brick truly bad? I had a painted brick fireplace at my other house, was there when I moved in and frankly it looked cheap. I did have it repainted a different color which improved it -- but painted brick is not an attractive look IMO. If it's truly horrible gold or pink brick or something, then go for it, but if it's a perfectly service traditional red, brown, or grey brick I'd work with it. Posting a pic would help responses....See Moresewwhatsnew
