Comments (49)I have soaker hoses on the perimter with quick disconnects so I can drag my 250 feet plus hose to each. While its being watered, I like to weed or deadhead. Then, I hand water the interior. One day (on the to-do list), I'd love to trench in some pvc-type piping underground from the faucet. Then there'll be no more near misses with running over my hose with the lawn mower. My mom always shakes her head and says, "Isn't a kitchen garden supposed to be by the kitchen?" Comments (49)This is my first year growing tomatoes, so it's been quite an experience given our unusually cold and wet spring here in Seattle. I planted several plants from seed at the end of March and transplanted them just after Memorial Day. I'm not positive you'd call it sage green; it's more what I'd call celadon but it is a grayish green. And Sonoma makes various other greens, both in matte, shiny and crackle. The Star line is their low end at about $11/sf (shipped from California to Texas) and the other lines are a bit more expensive. Our backsplash should be in within a few weeks. I can post pictures then if you'd like (we're using an accent band of Sonoma Tantrum tiles in color Tazo in 1x2 tiles). Here is a link that might be useful: Sonoma Tilemakers...See MoreIdaClaire
