Jeans or athletic light weight sweats outfit. No makeup (got allergic to it). Definitely comfort, especially the shoes.

Comfort for me and right now it's sweats with winter returning. Was blowing snow all afternoon and high of about 40°.

Last time I wore a dress was last month when we went out to eat for our anniversary.

Well, when I was much younger and had a "killer bod," I could wear anything and be comfortable. So, I generally went for style then.

Now that I'm old and, um, fluffy, I dress for comfort, but I still try to look decent. I never wear sweats out of the house (and, actually, rarely in the house). It's been a couple of years since I've worn a dress and heels. I have probably 20-25 pairs of seersucker pants (solids, prints, stripes, and plaids), and they're pretty much all I wear during the summer because they just so darn comfortable. I have a variety of different blouses/tops to go with all of them. Sometimes I'll wear solid color knit pants...

As for shoes, during the summer I only wear Keen sandals. Bali and Antiqua are the two styles that I own the most colors in, but I also have several other Keen style shoes, too.

In clothing I would say stylishly comfortable. I like to look nice, not frumpy.

Shoes are a whole different ball game. I have to go totally for comfort. I have to have special made shoes. I look at all the pretty shoes and just sigh.. but at least I have feet.:)

I'm pushing 60 & I go for both (don't want to embarass the GK's when I'm out in public with them.) :-) I shop at the junior dept. at Kohl's, Penney's, etc, staying away from the clothes that are obviously too teeny-bopper. If I have a question about a piece of clothing being "appropriate for my age" I run it past (ahhhh, cell phone pics!) my always been the fashionista 29 yr old DD.

Comfort for me! Jeans and T-shirts and a few Polo style shirts.I have a couple of dressy tops and a pair of black dressy pants that I wear occasionally.Haven't worn a dress or panty hose in 10 years or more.I have told my kids to bury me in my jeans and t-shirt.LOL I wear white keds in the summer and have several pairs of ballerina type flats that I wear year round.My favorite ones are leopard print.I bought 2 pair because they were so comfortable.I also wear strappy slide sandals in the summer.I wear black leather lace up athletic type shoes in the winter with socks.I'm very fashionable,I match the color of socks to the color of shirt I have on.LOL

I totally go for comfort. I hate having to figit with clothing. I usually go for lightweight washable fabrics. I also like to shop in Junior Department, but try to go with "age appropriate" fashion.

I just donated about 3' of hanger clothing out of my closet because of weight gain. It was hard to let go.

Comfort. Jeans and t shirts with boots, sandals or flip flops depending on the season.

Many of my tops are swag with advertising or social commentary on them. I have to be careful sometimes if I'm meeting someone for the first time. LOL

Although I am super casual I am always neat and clean. I never leave the house in sweats or baggies and rarely leave without some make-up.

I hate to shop so I don't until I absolutely have to. Then I'll buy 5 or 6 pairs of the same jeans or whatever.

Comfort is my watchword but I think you can be comfortable and stylish. When I go out, especially to a meeting or a casual gathering, I usually wear dress pants and a sweater or blouse or such. At home, well, anything goes. In the summer, I usually wear a skirt or capris with a nice top and sandals. For the Canadian KTers, think Tabi.

Now, if only I can find some comfortable and stylish dress shoes.........

Both. I can usually be found in jeans and a t-shirt or casual top of some kind, but I can also dress up if there's a need to. I don't wear sweat pants out of the house, but I will wear a nice sweattop to the store, I have a couple of nice tailored, gray ones that look sharp and don't show pet hair. :) That's a big plus in my book.

Shoes- either Reeboks or Clarks clogs or Okibashi flip flops. I have some dressier shoes but they only come out when dressy clothes/slacks do or if I want to funk up some jeans.

Summertime, shorts or a wrap skirt and tank top or t-shirt, usually. With flip flops or sandals.

Well, I never, almost never wear a dress. I don't wear sweat pants and only have one pair of jeans and only wear those around the house to work. I never wear shorts. I don't wear tee shirts either. I wear around home pants and either button down the front or pullover tops, a lot of cotton blends. I wear my better clothes when I go out, but they are all for comfort. No heels here anymore with bad knees, I go for comfort. No sneakers.

Fashion all the way. But I am comfortable in high heels and fashionable clothing. I do wear jeans sometimes, but I really do not like them and do not think they are comfortable. Comfortable is sweats or work out clothes, which I only wear when I work out or walk, can't run yet since my ankle is still healing. But I am wearing heels very carefully!

Mostly jeans, sweatshirts, t-shirts. If I have to dress up, it's slacks and a blazer. Can't remember the last time I wore a dress. Not sure if I have any that even fit me--LOL. And, of course, nothing but Clarks on my feet. No make up, ever (allergies), and only very rarely will I wear jewelry.

I figure if anyone has a problem with what I'm wearing, it's their problem, not mine. I've even told my family that I want to be buried in jeans and a sweatshirt--don't want to spend eternity uncomfortable!

Limited comfort always. Jeans love the spandex in them, very comfortable. Sweaters, blouses, some travel T-shirts with large long sleeve shirts to keep the chill off. No sweats, I think they look awful on anyone.

Depends on where I am going. If it is just to do grocery shopping or to BJ's I will wear comfort clothes. Jeans with a white cotton shirt and a hoodie. If it is to an appointment out with friends or out with hubby...fashion all the way. I am comfortable in both styles. NancyLouise

My favorite comfort outfit...big shirt, denims and sneakers. I never leave the house without makeup.

I don't even want to go to places where dressing up is required...that's not me.

I too would have to say "stylish comfort" if I am leaving the house to go out, but don't ask what I look like in the comfort of my own home. LOL

Total comfort now that I am retired.

I usually wear jeans, a turtleneck or long-sleeved tee, Crocs/sneakers and polartec vest around the house. In the spring/summer I wear knee-length shorts with a plain tee-shirt.

When I go out to dinner, mall or visit friends, etc., I would wear a nice pair of slacks, blouse, blazer, jewelry and my 3" heels!

For me it depends on what I am doing. If I am going to be sitting in my office or showing units, I wear business dressy/casual. If I am going to be painting or dunging out a unit I wear old clothes that have paint stains on them.
Starting next month I am switching to working at the Head Office so I am going to have to buy a few things that are more geared to office wear.
Shoes are going to be the biggest expense as I haven't worn anything but runners in 3 years - not exactly appropriate for an office setting.
My birthday is on the 4th of May so I'll be asking for clothes this year - coincidentally that is also the day I start my new job at the office.

Definitely comfort! I wear long or short sleeve T-shirt and jeans almost every day. I rarely get dressed up anymore. I also live in a very casual type of town. No one wears fancy clothes here, strange odd bizarre clothes, but not dressed up type of clothes. You would stand out if you did.

Comfort definitely. Pull on pants with elastic waists and Easy Spirit shoes.

I can't remember the last time I wore a dress/skirt. I go for comfort. Pants, jeans/capris/dress slacks, with different tops.

I have to wear dress clothes 6 days a week. Shoes are the hardest part since I have a bad foot!!
Evenings and Saturdays are comfortable slacks and pretty sweatshirts in the winter and banded pullovers in the summer. The only time I wear jeans or knee length shorts, is when I am mowing/working in the yard, or sick.

I'd like to wear cute shoes to work, but I have to wear athletic shoes or my feet just cannot stand the hours on a hard floor, day after day. I try to dress nicely, but the shoes destroy the outfit!

Home--mostly old clothes, jeans, t-shirts. Really comfy stuff, and of course, those athletic shoes. I've found Avia do the best for me, and I get them at shoebuy.com.

If you could see me now, you wouldn't have to ask that question. Comfort all the way. Every day, and anywhere I go. I only wear Crocs, and so I am very casual all the time.

Comfort when home for the day, stylish when leaving the house. Both can be combined. Except for shoes - you are going to be in comfort or in style, no two ways about that *LOL* I go for style when I'm not going to be on my feet the whole day, otherwise the heels are lower for comfort.

Funny that this topic came up today, as I was just thinking about my dress style last night. My favorite attire is jeans and tees with either sneakers or sandals. I work in an office that has a relaxed dress code but the gals (all much younger) still dress from time to time. For work, I like to wear Lee casual slacks and dressy tees. I probably could wear jeans every day but I feel the need to kick it up a notch for work.

comfort, definitely comfort. Jeans suck, in my opinion. They don't give. :)

Oklamoni, that is what I thought about jeans until they started adding the spandex. They are so comfortable now, they give when you move. I wear mine tight, they are my girdle. LOL I have to wear an over shirt or a jacket to be detract from my hips, if that is possible.

oklamoni, most jeans do suck, but I buy the stretch, and also prefer the elastic waistband. (not quit as fashionable) They are more comfortable though.

Does anyone know what they call the shirts that are longer in the front & back? I can't find any, and us fluffy girls need that coverage. I just hate to shop for clothes! Oh, and forget the shoes, nothing fits, I have a short wide foot, most shoes are out for me. At least the nice looking ones.
