Has anyone used Benjamin Moore Constellation for kitchen wall colo?
Comments (1)Constellation. I I have used Constellation, but in a waterfront home facing east. It is a beautiful color, but wondering if it is too pale for the kitchen. It can get lost among all the greige. With such defined colors as Revere Pewter and Solitude, would you consider a darker tone with the same undertone as Solitude? B.M. Province Blue...See MoreHas anyone used Benjamin Moore Pale Oats in their project?
Comments (1)Hi Laura, This might be way to late but we recently painted our home in Pale Oak. I'm still on the fence about it. It's definitely a warm grey that leans towards beige in some lights and can also look very cool in others. It is definitely a chameleon. Trying to figure out ways to add some colour to my space now too since it is very light. What colour did you decide on?...See MoreHas anyone used Benjamin Moore Creamy White?
Comments (30)@susanlynn2012, I do have bm swiss coffee in one room currently. I really like it. It’s in my kitchen, and I’m debating whether I should bring it into the living room or if I should do something with a slightly lower lrv in the LR. The swiss coffee changes a lot throughout the day. Sometimes it looks almost white, sometimes a very pale beige, and in certain light next to my oak cabinets it can have almost a pink undertone....See MoreAnyone use benjamin moore castle peak gray on their kitchen cabinets?
Comments (9)IMO that color is much too dark for a north facing kitchen. It's also a greenish, brownish color, not so much gray, which I'm sorry to say a lot of people would refer to as baby poop color. I have a north facing kitchen which has dark cabinets from the previous owners. I guess they didn't like the original white, but when I remodel in a couple years I will definitely be going back to white. Even if you don't like white, there are plenty of lighter colors you can be looking at. If you like green, look at lighter, more true greens. Even if this isn't your style, this is the color I and probably the previous poster are referring to: Colors get washed out in northern light. Since this is a new build, if you can't look at color swatches in the actual light, try to find another north facing room in your current house or a friend's house in which to view samples. This is a big commitment, so think about this choice carefully. After you pick a color, see if they can get you a sample door before they do the whole kitchen....See Morevjwilkinson
