Allison was awesome....consider only 16 and

I taped the show and haven't seen it all but I did change from Biggest Loser and saw Lil's performance. IMHO she totally destroyed the wonderful song...The Rose.

Adam is back to his screeching which I do not like.. but he isn't in any danger of going home. I think Matt will be in the bottom 3 tomorrow, not sure who the third one would be.

Lil needs to go...no doubt. Allison, Anope and Adam deserve to be in the top three. Just MHO.

I think Allison and Anoop did better this time round then even my favorite Adam (I can't believe I'm saying that!). Matt and Lil just didn't have it last night. They are the 2 that should be in the bottom. Everyone else did a good job. NancyLouise

It's time for Lil to go. I agreed with Simon, I thought she was going to come back and just "wow" me, but she never really has. She does a good job with some notes but not enough to stay in the competition.

Simon got it right last night....Adam sounded just like the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He totally destroyed a great classic "Born to Be Wild" with his screeching. Lil did much better then Adam.

Allison is the best IMO. I gave her 25 votes last night.

The rest are just okay IMO.

I've always liked Allison; her artistry at that young age is really something.

Adam is my man! However, because he is already a professional singer, I would like Allison to win.

With the exception of Lil, DD and I thought everyone did extremely well last night. We even conceded that those we don't care for personally did a great job.

Lil, however, simply refuses to 'get' it. Which is a real shame. She's got such a great voice, but she doesn't have the artistry needed to be a true, original recording artist. Yes, they want to see contestants taking risks, creating their own versions of the songs they sing, but they also have to have the judgment to know when a song is such a classic that it cannot be 'messed' with. The Rose is one of those. As a person I like and respect her, but as a contestant, it's time for her to go.

Although, DD thinks tonight will be the 'save'. They only have 2 weeks left to use it, and she they won't use it next week, because then 2 will have to go the week after that, and that's just getting too close to the end. She makes a good point. I tend to think that no matter who is in the bottom tonight, they'll let them slide. After all, with the 'save' being a new feature, they HAVE to use it this year.

I felt that Adam was the only one that gave a performance - the other's just didn't compare to him. Anoop and Allison were alright, but both sang for a competition. Adam sang to engage and entertain the audience.
I don't think the judges will use their save unless it happened that Allison or Adam ended up in the bottom 3. I doubt they would use it to keep Lil around. And I agree with the above poster, she totally desecrated that beautiful song.

I am 61 years old,so I dont care much for American Idol. I watch it with my 21 year old dd though. I hope Adam Lambert wins. I dont care for his music or his style,but he does it very well and is not just a singer,,,hes a real performer.

I haven't seen the show but on the news they showed a clip of (I think an English lady) singing a song from Les Mis....She was older and looked dowdy but her voice was unbelievable....All the judges were very impressed....Is this the show you're talking about and what happened to her?

That is a different show.....Britain's Got Talent. The show we are talking about is American Idol.

I really liked Adam's version of Born to be Wild. I think Adam, Allison and Anoop are the best 3.

I think Adam is miles ahead of the rest in terms of performance and entertainment value. I worry though, that if he wins, he might be stuck in a mold but if he loses, he is free to do whatever he wants to do and record whatever he wants to record. No doubt he'll get a recording contract regardless of how far he makes it on AI.

I hope the final two are he and Allison.

I think it's time for Lil to go. She doesn't stand out at all. All her performances sound the same to me.

Dial Idol has Lil as safe by a landslide, Chris at the bottom.I think it is Chris, Matt and Anoop in the bottom 3, Danny at the top. Lil is in 2nd or 3rd, then Adam. It appears that Vote for the Worst has adopted Lil.

I think that if it is Chris they will save him, not so sure about Matt tho, I think they might let him go.

Can't figure out the problem with Lil. She has a strong voice, but I don't think she has the range. Maybe that's why she continues to miss notes a lot. She should have gone a long time ago. I like her - a lot, but not for Idol. She may make a good background singer, maybe even for a heavy hitter singer or group. But she just doesn't seem to be able to make it solo.

Anoop - some days he's up; some days, down. There are too many good ones left to keep him. He'll go far, if he looses the overconfidence.

Not sure what will happen because it is getting pretty tight. I don't like the group this year as much for showmanship, as I have past groups. They seem flat to me with group songs and activities - sort of not-ready-for prime-time. Individually, I think some of them do have it though.

I just think..Adam, Allison and Anope should be the top 3, but Danny is a close following. Or maybe tied with Anope.

Adam and Allison are very entertaining. Anope and Danny make you love 'em.

I really didn't think they would save Matt, and frankly I wish they hadn't. He's a great lounge singer but I think that is the extent of it. Same with Lil.

It's interesting to me to watch and listen to the judges. The only ones I really pay attention to are Randy and Simon....I think they look at them as marketable property as opposed to just talent. So I think that when it comes right down to it, Adam is at the top with them. I like Danny but think he is sort of a yawn, like Taylor Hicks. Love the voice, but nothing really exciting for personality.

I really wish they would get rid of Paula but guess we can't vote off the judges.
