American Idol last night

It just wasn't the same without James. :-(

I missed the first round of songs (when am I going to remember to turn on my TV??), but caught Haley's first one on YouTube and loved it. I want to watch Scotty's, too, after hearing the judges rave about him.

I hope someone teaches Lauren how to breathe. Every time she takes a deep breath, her shoulders go up. Chest breathing isn't good for singers (or anyone else).

I hope Scotty wins...I voted for him. Scotty, Hailey, Lauren....in that order...who wins?? I don't know....the verdict is still out. But, I think all four finalist will have a career. It was the most talented Idol so far.

How wonderfully sweet Luanne. Thank you all so much for my your good wishes. I was in Duluth, MN on my birthday and back to the frozen tundra the following week to Wisconsin. I am happy to be home this weekend as the sun is out and helping to dry the ground. My roses are budded out and ready to pop. Pretty good considering they have not been fertilized in since 2008. I agree with Happy go lucky. Don't know the names yet but #3 with pink and blonde hair was the best. Tatiana did well but Simon said it best.."you are a drama queen". Still she did a good job with the Whitney Houston song. Didn't think much of the guys last night. Can't wait to see who gets picked tonight. If Tatiana doesn't make it through I wonder if she will have a melt down on stage. SamKaren your resident DJ

Yes I too caught the 2 lyrics slip ups, they just can not do that at this stage of the competition it will kill them. Still in love with Casey, think Jacob was awesome and James did very well too, I do like Paul he has such a unique voice and style but am afraid many do not get him, to me he is another along the lines of Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan, I was bored with Tia, Pia, and Naima, who apparently got confused and thought she was on the dancing show. I am so ready for her to be gone. Stephano was great last week but dropped it this week. Was glad to see Scottie stick to his country roots and put a spin on his song. Haley is good but is getting eaten up by the competition if she does not step it up she will be gone, her lyrics slip up may have been the last straw for her unfortunately, I wish she would get her confidence back and really go for it I love her raspy growly blusey voice when she goes there. and I thought that stupid Chef who is always so mean on his own show had to come to AI and be insulting to Stephanos mother who was kind enough to go and cook for the whole gang, that was so uncalled for shame on you Chef Ramsey.

I'd be pleased with a Scotty-Haley final, too. Although I would have been more pleased with a James-Haley final. I think they'll all make a name for themselves, though.

Since I'm not a fan of Haley's singing, I'd like to see the other two in the finals with Scotty winning it all. Over the past weeks, he's shown how diverse his voice can be.

Will not watch it anymore since James is gone. I don't care one tiny bit who wins although Scotty is country and I don't like country at all.

Scotty seems very one dimensional; they used to criticize people for that; this year they seem to like it. They're all "ok".....can't even pick one that I think should win. I did like Haley's Zepplin song though.

This year has been the most talent ever over any year before, there are not any bad ones in the bunch and all will be successful.
I did not vote but I like Scotty, Lauren, Haley in that order.
I sure felt bad for Haley when she fell, I had just said out loud the way she is running in those heels she is going to fall and bam down she went. I wish they would just stay on stage to sing and not try to run around all over, it affects their breathing and makes it hard to follow and the judges can not see them. Once they become famous and have a lot of training then maybe they can start doing that kind of stuff.

I thought it was awesome that they let her dad play guitar on stage with her singing. That was a very good performance.

After James left I didn't bother watching either. I can't stand Haley, and they other two are pretty much country singers.

o.k. sooooooo, I'm just sittin' and a soggin' and waiting for Survivor. Hurry up! haha

I'm with everyone else who doesn't care who wins now that James isn't on anymore. I'm eagerly awaiting his first album and scooping it up!!!

I didn't watch most the show last night. I think of the 3 left, Lauren is my favourite. I really don't think that girls knows how good she is.
