They said goodbye to Ashthon. The judges unanimously agreed not to give her a reprieve.

wish they had used that wild card they gave her to Lauren T instead, that was a wasted wild card, my thought.
America had told them Ashton should be gone guess they meant it. LOL
She was one I was never very impressed with.

How wonderfully sweet Luanne. Thank you all so much for my your good wishes. I was in Duluth, MN on my birthday and back to the frozen tundra the following week to Wisconsin. I am happy to be home this weekend as the sun is out and helping to dry the ground. My roses are budded out and ready to pop. Pretty good considering they have not been fertilized in since 2008. I hope to get to that this year! Love you all, Carol, Fang, Ma, Husky MaMa (so many personalities, it's hard to keep me straight sometimes)

I like Mike's voice but I'm bored with him singing all those s-l-o-w songs. I want to see him sing some fast, toe tapping tunes. I really don't care who wins this time. They are all pretty good (don't like Lee) but not nearly as good as past contestants. Kind of boring season IMO. Linda

As far as constructive criticism, I think Kara gives the best. She tempers the bad with the good. Simon and Randy keep telling them the same things: song choice, do something different with the song to make it yours, etc then when they do, its not right. Ellen doesn't have any musical talent to base her comments on, just whether she likes the person or not. I wish they just had the 3 or the 4th being a musical guest of the week. I didn't care for Sinatra night. I liked Crystal's song better than the judges, and Lee was good. Mike was okay as was Aaron. Casey wasn't very good. He looked lost without his guitar.

I'm glad she's gone. She was good but I couldn't stand her Diva-like attitude. I think she put people off with that cockiness.

I liked Ashthon and really thought Haley should have gone home. I don't care for her singing.

I agree with you Raven they wasted a wild card on her...it should have gone to Lauren....Ashton couldn't sing a tune...she was so off key......I guess the judges agreed.

Apparently Casey Abrams has ulcerative colitis, and needed a blood transfusion after his performance this week. I hope he holds up okay through the competition.
