Geeze, I hate when a constestant that I would love to see voted off the show do a fantastic job on a song. sigh...

Scotty was not good tonight. He is becoming a one trick pony.
James has been on point every week.
Stefano needs to go home, as does Casey.

Thanks so much for the click and drag, bestlawn. I am always missing the elimination show, and I hate to wait like a day and a half to be able to see on the A.I. website who was voted off. Did y'all notice on the previous show this week, David Hernandez kept talking about his place of work being a pizzaria or something like that, in his interview? Maybe he worked there part time or off and on, briefly at the last or something. But I think he was trying to distance himself from his real place of employment - the gay strip club - since that had been found out and talked about all over the internet. As busy as they are with the grueling practice and rehearsals, they must have some kind of feedback available as to what is going on with the nation-wide audience. I don't consider Rhianna a great singer. All her songs have that echo effect which I think makes her sound better than she is. As for Mike who could have been voted off, though he's a good singer, I think they should have let him go. He doesn't bring anything different to the stage like Crystal, Casey, and that funky girl do. Everything he sings sounds the same and to me, a REAL singer, can change things up a bit. They should have saved the vote for another person, and I think they will wish they had later.

I thought David Cook would win AI when I saw his auditions in Hollywood. He was a bit creepy looking with his odd haircut but the AI stylists have done a good job cleaning him up and still leaving him with his "look". My DH doesn't like Cook because he reminds him of one of my not so popular brothers and I have to agree, he does look like him. I cannot get used to David A's breathing while he sings. Obviously I know it is necessary :-) but it is so loud that it distracts me. He's had vocal cord paralysis in the past and I worry that it may be a liability to him later on. Not sure if a producer wants to pour big bucks into a voice that has a history of medical problems. Jodi-

I have never liked Scotty. For me it's Casey or James. They have true talent.

I found Jacob weak tonight, I still like Haley , Lauren and James in that order,
but Stefano is picking up speed and showing up strong . I've been bored with Scotty since the beginning, he's really one dimensional, although I admit he's good in that dimension.

Jacob is the same week after week. Boring. Scotty has a very good country voice, but he needs to do something different to keep people interested. Stefano, well.... I'm not a fan of him or Hayley. Lauren is very good, it's hard to beleive she still only 16. Then there is James. My man! I really do hope he wins. Either way, we haven't heard the last of him.

I missed the entire show last night (I did see James and Casey's performances on youtube), so I can't really guess who will be going home tonight. My least favorite are Jacob and Haley.

Mitchdesj, I'm happy to find someone else who likes Haley! I think she's a great talent. Loved her performance last night.

I thought James was awesome, and it was fun to see Jennifer's reaction to his performance.

I was unfamiliar with all the songs that were sung last night. Guess I should turn my radio dial to something besides NPR once in awhile. LOL

I still like James, Lauren, Scotty and Haley...probably in that order. I hated Jacob's version of that Luther Vandross song. The original song is just beautiful and I could barely make out the words he was singing. I don't care for Casey or Stephano either.

I am so glad the judges see the amazing talents that Casey has, Steven really was getting into it stating his mind last night LOL The kid is one of the best musicians, even the shows pros are amazed by his skills and his voice.
I think Haley did the best performance so far last night, she is redeeming herself.
James was very good, he is original.
Jacob is getting boring, he was much better before they reigned him in, Randy keeps telling him to let go and do it like he did in the early days but the people working with him are not allowing him to do that they keep pulling him back. He needs to stand his ground like Casey and James did and do what he feels.
Stephano did not impress.
Scotty is going to be a major country star no matter what happens on the show and I am glad he is sticking to his guns and doing what is right for him. Country is a big enough genre to support that.
Lauren is very good but as Jennifer said needs to let it go big, quit holding back.

Susan..you and I both should turn off NPR and listen to current music. I recognized only two songs. My music is the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Hayley is the person who impressed me last night. I recognized most of the songs last night. James sang a song by Muse, and he changed it up a little bit. It's played over the instore radio where I work almost every day. I like the song and felt he did a great job with it. Hayley didn't do her growl throaty thing, and I could *finally* make out what she was singing. I think both are safe tonight. But then, I thought Pia would be one of final 2 or 3 contestants...

Scotty wasn't good last night and his facial expressions when he sings are annoying. I still like his voice though.

For the first time, I really heard what James is capable of. His voice last night was terrific. I like him better when he's not doing that metal crap and screaming. He does have a tender voice when he sings songs that showcase it.

Haley did a great job too, surprisingly, though I'm not a fan. She needs to let go of that growling more often. It gets old and is annoying.

Bye Stefano. I think a big win will go straight to his head in less than a NY minute. He's not good enough anyway. He always sounds the same and was trying really hard to take it up a notch last night. He seemed too fake to me.

Casey was good; so was Lauren; Jacob was okay but there are some songs that shouldn't be touched by anyone (no one will ever match Luther), but my guess for home-bound is either Scotty or Stefano tonight.
