American Idol was on tonight? Crap, I missed it! I didn't realize it was on again tonight.

I was disappointed in the last girl that made it through because I didn't think she was good AT ALL. I just based that on the previous audition they showed right then because I'd never seen her audition before. Not saying the other girl should have made it because I hadn't seen her before either or it was forgettable. For the most part, I was happy for all the ones that made it. Totally disagreed with Simon about the "politician" guy. And was very sad for the little sweetheart. Sure hope some record company picks him up and teaches him how to sing really well. He will be a great attraction if they do. Or, hopefully he'll try out again next year. You can almost foresee his future. The hard rock nurse made it through, too.

I was glad the last girl that made it through did. I thought the other girl seemed too sure of herself. A lot of the kids that made it through I don't think I ever saw perform at all. I was really sad for the one boy who didn't make it..the one I had hoped would in my post yesterday. I wonder what he is doing today.

There is a contest starting tomorrow on idol.com. You guess which week each of the 24 will go home and you could win 1 million dollars! Woohoo!!

I think the politician guy made it as far as he needed to. He has personality and something else about him that makes him likeable. I think this was probably just the spotlight he needed to do well in whatever it is that he really wants to do in life.

I first liked that gal named Kristi Lee Cook till I read online that she is not an amateur at all. In fact, she has had a recording contract at one time and was in a video with Britney Spears. In no way did she have to sell her horse for her plane fare as they said during her first audition. I hate deception.

Love the young guy who audtioned in San Diego. David something.....

I love the young 16 year boy. He is cute, sings well and adorable. I think he will go places even if he does not win.

I cried with Joshia (sp) when he was cut. He's the one living out of his car. I worry about that young man. He
had so much talent and just blew his last try. I just wanted to hug him and tell him it would be alright. Did
you see him the first night showing him feeling of the bed, how happy he was to be sleeping in a room,,,,on a bed?

Well, I got to watch it afterall. Last night went to my recordings on the DVR to watch the Grammy Awards from Sunday and there was American Idol. No Grammy Awards...apparently Alex decided he could delete whatever he wanted. Grrr! So I watched Idol.

It was an emotional show, always tough when they are all crying on the screen for me not to shed a tear for them - and I'm with Judy, I adore that little 16 year old David - I hope he does really well.

I don't know Colton Berry personally, but he is very well known in the area. He lives about 15 miles from where I live.

Berry has directed and starred in musicals since he was 16, including "Beauty and the Beast," "Jeckyl and Hyde," "Chicago" and a completely sold-out production of "Aida." The High School senior also performed with the 2006 production of "Big River" and the 2007 musical "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum."

Sorry to say I wasn't too impressed with his performance. I had expected better.

I have a quite different opinion of Josiah, who was living out of his car. He's 18 and chose to live in his car--and I don't think that his audition was anything special, to be quite honest. I hope he makes something of his life, but I don't think he was Idol material. Plus, I don't quite understand his British accent since he's never been to England, but enjoys music from British artists.

I liked Cardin but she also didn't have that great of an audition at the end. I'm a fan of David Johns and the young David A, as well as the rocker guy with the red bangs.

Does anyone know if the girl whose Dad died in the car crash when she was on her way to the audition made it? I can't remember her name as I only saw her during the initial audition phase. I don't even remember where she was from. She sang "How do I live without you" in her audition, for her Dad.

cork2win I think her name was Aish'a(sp?. She did make it through. She was one of the final girls to make it.

I agree with bearcat va about Joshia. He choose to live in his car. I found all of the crying that he did througout the entire audition process to be kinda irritating.

Can't wait till next week to see what happens!!

Don't remember her name either, but nope she didn't make it. They ended the show with her turning her hotel room light off.

Sorry, there were two girls who lost their father at the same time. I answered about the black girl. I don't know how the other girl's father died.

All I know is if Amanda Overmyer were my nurse, I'd be skeered.
