I never thought this person would win but I never thought the person would go home tonight either. I was upset. I was hoping for one of the other bottom three. I'll be curios to see if this person's music will take off.

Oh, now I don't care about the show. I liked him a lot.
It hasn't come on here yet, so I may not even watch.
He kind of reminded me of Michael Hutchence from INXS, who I LOVED!!! (RIP)

Sad and disappointed. I would have liked to hear that one a few more weeks before he left.

And looks like TMZ and Tevo had it wrong this week. They predicted a different outcome, based on this week's Tevo-ing (is that anything close to a word?)

There were at least 3 people I thought should have went home before him.

I thought Michael had a Jim Morrison from the Doors thing going. Did you see at the end when Randy was whispering something in his ear? I'll bet he said something like "don't worry you will get a recording contract".

I enjoy everyone's singing but there are certain things about certain contestants I just can't get past. The two things for me are Carly's tatoo on her arm (too big) and Jason's dredlocks (they look like they need a good washing). But..that's just my opinon.

I hope Brooke or Kristy wins.

I feel just like last season when Melinda Doolittle was voted off prematurely.

I like Michael Johns, he should start a Queen cover band - he sings there songs to a T...too bad, I would have expected some of the others would go before him.

Really weird, Suzan. Looking on the Idol site and googling, nowhere do I find the answer. On one Q&A site someone asked the question and another poster answered that Yahoo announced 25mil, whereas they raised 75mil last year. I don't find an official answer and someone here heard already.

I was shocked. Thought it would be Syesha or Carly. I really liked him.....and definitely easy on the eyes.

I was shocked too....I was sure it would have been Syesha. She's good but I like her the least of what's left. I really like Kristi and Carly...Brooke is good too. At this point I really don't care who wins..they are all winners to me. I sound like Paula now huh? :O)

They said last night on the show that they'd raised $60 million for Idol Gives Back, but people can still give through the website.

I know I'm late in commenting on this but I'm so very disappointed. I thought that David A., David C. and Michael would be the top three. I just really can't see any of the girls going to the top. I liked Michael and David Cook equally, so now I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for David Cook. I really think it's way overdue for both Carly and Sayesha to leave the show. Brooke is nice but I find her very dull and not an entertainer at all. So, here I am, heartbroken over Michael being out of the competition. When Ryan made the comment that this time last season they chose to not send anyone home, I thought for sure they were going to do this with Michael. Why did Ryan even bring that up???

Yep - I thought that that was pretty cruel, also. Michael sure is a good lookin' thang, isn't he!!? LOL

I loved his kind of bluesy sounding number a week or so ago. Hated that he left this soon. To me, he's more of an entertainer than several of the others.
