I thought it would be the blonde that was in the bottom three. I cannot remember her name. But I'm glad it was David. I never saw anything in him. He looked really surprised that it was him who was going home.

I agree with Stephanie - I thought it was going to be Kristy Lee Cook going home. I just keep wondering how much longer we have to put up with Amanda. I'm ready for her to leave.

I told my DH who would be in the bottom 3 and I got it 100% correct. The right person was voted off.

Amanda is too much for me, but I guess young people would gravitate to her. Im too old to enjoy her, but my 20 year old loves her and David Cook. I like the cute little boy,David Arguletta ,,,but hes probably too boy next door for Idol. Im OLD, what do I know? LOL!Id still vote for him.

Thanks so much for the click and drag, bestlawn. I am always missing the elimination show, and I hate to wait like a day and a half to be able to see on the A.I. website who was voted off.

Did y'all notice on the previous show this week, David Hernandez kept talking about his place of work being a pizzaria or something like that, in his interview? Maybe he worked there part time or off and on, briefly at the last or something. But I think he was trying to distance himself from his real place of employment - the gay strip club - since that had been found out and talked about all over the internet.
As busy as they are with the grueling practice and rehearsals, they must have some kind of feedback available as to what is going on with the nation-wide audience.

I thought Kristy would be the one going home. My least favorite is still Amanda. Guess I'm just not "into" that type of singing or music. Must be my age catching up to me like with everything else. :-]

I guess I always like janis joplin, not her lifestyle but her music.

I wanted Kristy Lee Cook gone first, but David H. was a good second choice.

I don't have a favorite yet. David A. can sing really well, but I get icky adolescent visuals every time I see him. I can't help it. I look at him and see a teenage boy with a messy bedroom and a collection of action figures hidden away in the closet because he's too old to play with them, but isn't ready to give them up yet. Fame spoils so many young people and he seems like a sweet kid. I'd like for him to keep his innocence for a few more years.

I like David A., too, but there's something about his mouth that bothers me. He moves his tongue around or something & over his lips a lot. Makes me nervous. I do like his singing tho, so it's probably just a thing only I would notice. :~)
