I'm back, but barely need ravencajun help

I just got my new computer hooked up about an hour ago and it's not much fun to change to 8.1. Ravencajun, if you're on here, I desperately need something that's familiar so want to download Firefox. Can you give me the safest site to do it from? Thanks so much.

Getting on here with all the new stuff is like going on vacation, coming back to find it's my house but everything's been changed around.

Thanks for the emails from some of you that were concerned. I only have had time to open a couple. Will respond when I have time. probably tomorrow.

Good catch, Lisa, about the dw and dish drawers conflicting. This probably comes under a personal preference thing, but I really don't like upper diagonal corner cabinets that don't have cabinets on the adjacent wall on both sides. It looks like a connector that doesn't connect anything to me...kind of awkward in appearance, plus being deep and more difficult to access because of the reduced opening. I would, instead, run a regular cabinet flat along that stove wall, ending its side against the window wall. Then you can open it all the way...the full 2 ft... and see everything. You also don't have your lower lazy susan drawn at a full 3 ft from the wall in each direction...Want to be sure you are planning accurately and won't be disappointed by the reduction in size of the cab between lazy susan and the stove.

Well of all things. I, too, thought you were wrapped up in all your projects. I think of you soooo often. So glad to read that you are back at work/play, and w/the determination and drive you have, it won't be long until we see that wall covered. Yes, Mapei Ultra Flex 2 is my recommendation for the wall - for the adhesive and grout. I am still working on my brick workshop mosaic, little by little, and if I had it to do over, I'd thin-coat it in the mortar before mosaicing. It would be much easier. Your handyman can do that for you and leave the fun stuff for yourself. Mine offered but noooooooooo, I was too anxious to get started. The mapei sticks immediately, and I had very little taping to do to hold the larger pieces on. Sooooo glad to see you back.

First I would like to thank suero, parma42 and especially organic smallhouse for responding to my questions. I have finally chosen this rug that organic smallhouse suggested. I am going to do a "Try It Out for Thirty Days" to see if I can live with the print. Jpmom, you home is gorgeous already! The 12" crown will look perfect with the already tall baseboards. Then add all the other woodwork in, the fireplace mantle, wainscoting, and pillars in the dining room. So pretty! My first reaction was to continue the white painted woodwork. It seems naturally connected to that bar wall from the the LR and DR with the baseboards and wainscoting. Oh and I also love that transom window above the other doorway too! My other thought was that I know from experience how the backsplash tile can completely change colors due to the lighting and what is directly next to it. I would want the two areas in the kitchen with the backsplash to look related. It may look completely different with one being next a window with white cabs and dark counters verses the other being in low natural light with black cabs and white Quartz. I'd definitely wait to decide on what to do with the bar area until the rest of the kitchen is painted white as Romy suggested. I do think it might look great either way, but I'm just one who needs to see it in real life before committing. I am sure either way it is gonna be stunning! ETA.... Could you possibly find a remnant of the Volga blue to fit the bar top if you went with white cabs on the bar? Or possibly just cut the granite and add a dark walnut type wood butcherblock section that reads dark above the wine fridge? Think romy's dark wood top next to the granite? Just a thought....:-)

Raven: I woke up and can't go back to sleep. I downloaded FF. Now I need the links to get rid of all these ads. I've been without them for so many years because of programs I've installed. Now I don't remember what to get or where to get them.

Could you provide the links to malwarebytes and Super (something or other....don't laugh too hard at my descriptions of what I want/need). It's been 8 years since I last started from scratch on a computer.

I will definitely take advantage of the link you gave me in the next few days and/or weeks.

Maybe now I can go back to sleep.

there you go there is the link for ad block plus and you want to make sure to get the easylist subscription for it.
Add EasyList to Adblock Plus just clik on that line it will add it to your ad block plus.

I prefer links from major geeks they are direct downloads and all safe. Just be sure as always to watch closely as you go through step by step to uncheck any added on stuff like toolbars etc.

Have you installed an antivirus program? Usually you will get a free trial version. You will probably want to uninstall that one and get something else like AVAST free. If you need help just let me know. I have a good program that will uninstall for you.
