We are moving right along rough plumbing done waiting for inspection maybe today. If weather will let up perhaps gunite this weekend. Will post picks soon. Thanks for the comment stonesmama!

Looks good. I'm in Dallas and they were supposed to start diggin our pool this week but the rain threw us off schedule. Hopefully things will dry up and we can get moving next week.

Stone setters were onsite yesterday afternoon to get started on weeping moss rock wall. We hope to have tile and coping complete this week as well. Wish us luck.

We have tile!
We had a massive storm last night so we may not get coping done today but we are keeping our fingers crossed. We are putting in Oklahoma Flagstone. Hope everyone is having a great day!

We got the same storm and as a matter of fact, I was thinking about all the miserable people in the middle of pool builds! We've been getting daily thunderstorms here in the Houston-area, but we really need the rain.

I hope your coping gets done soon! Ours was square cut, so they were able to cut ours in the shop, then bring it out to the house. That cut down on a LOT of the install time.

Lovely pool. Can't wait to see the Tahoe blue. That's one of my favorite shades.

For months I've been leaning toward blue tile like in afnajz' pool. Nice, right?

However, in many of the recent posts, I'm seeing all these beige/cream/natural water line tiles and I like those a lot, too.

Your tile might be a happy medium for me. Manufacturer, please?

Hi smbnobles - Your pool build thread is one of my favorites you have a gorgeous pool. They did cut our coping on Monday so maybe you are right it will cut down on installation time. Thanks for the post.

Hi banana fanna - I will track down the tile maker and color code name for you then post it here. The pictures yesterday do not even do it justice maybe because of the cloud cover when I took them. We absolutely love the colors. Thanks for the post.

I'm jealous....we got delayed 1 week becuase Oncor has to reroute an overhead electric line. Your pool looks great.

Thanks, TJ1. I'm going to try to get a sample of your tile. I really like it. It looks great with the coping. The coping really pulls the creamy beige color out of the tile.

Here's a picture from that link you gave me that is pushing me, even more, back to smoky blue waterline tile. I'm having a devil of a time deciding...natural or blue. Blue or natural. Sigh.

tracy....pool looks great. We are just to the south of you in Carrollton. Our pool was finished about a month ago. We are loving it. If you search ibobi you will se my thread. Was wondering who is your builder. They are moving right along and doing a nice clean build from what I can see.

Your pool looks great. I can't believe how fast they are moving on your build. I also love your waterline tile and it does look great with your coping. We almost selected that tile in a different color. I am still not sure I made the right choice, especially after seeing how nice yours looks. Keep the pics coming.

banana fanna - I know what you mean about it being hard to choose it can be overwhelming but I am sure you will find the right tile color for you.

ibobi - Thanks for the comment and post I will definitely run a search and check out your thread. Our pool builder is Waterford Pools and they have been great to work with.

momof3littleboys - Thanks for the post and comments we do seem to be moving along and we hope it continues :) We love the stone work on your pool absolutely incredible.

They ran plumbing yesterday to equipment pad. Delivered the equipment still need to install. We hope to have electrical work done as well as stamped concrete this week as well. We are scheduled for pebbletec on July 9th wish us luck. Will post pics soon.

The forms and rebar have been installed for the decking, jbox has been installed and drainage lines have been installed under the decking, along the side of the house and out to the curb. (still need curb core drill to be done) We are waiting on inspection before they can continue with the decking and etc. Equipment not yet installed. For some exciting news to us we purchased three windmill palms and are set to get them installed this week. PB stated that if we were going to put palms in then if would be a good idea to get it done prior to pebbletec on Wednesday. Wish us luck Happy Monday everyone.

We got word this afternoon that we have the green approval tag to continue with our decking so we hope to see that done this week.

The equipment was installed yesterday. We are excited to see it done just needs a little clean up as it rained the night before so the area was a bit soggy. It is official we are scheduled to get our deck put in tomorrow morning at 8AM yahoo! Happy Thursday everyone.

Looking good Tracy. Your pumps and filter are just like ours. My one gripe (very minor) is the filter basket on the Jandy pump is not easy to clean. We have to take the hose to it and spray it down and when I do that it basically sprays it to the other side of the basket. I need to get some type of brush to use?? Other than that the equiment has been a breeze. I bet you guys are chomping at the bit to get in huh? You should be swimming in no time. Keep posting your progress.

We have decking and the pebbletec crew was onsite yesterday, sprinkler crew was hear yesterday as well and are back today. We expect acid wash from Pebbletec today and upon approval from inspection we hope to be filling this afternoon. Stamped concrete decking will get color highlights and sealed after another week or so. Getting close.

Beautiful! If I'm remembering right, I think you want to make sure the hose doesn't stay resting against the Pebble Tec while the pool is filling?

Hi graceunderpressure - Thanks for the heads up. The pebbletec guy put it in like that when he left and I did not see that warning on the warranty card either but live and learn. I am at work so I can't move it and from what my PB is saying it should be done with filling up around 3:30 - 4.

Tracy, What a wonderful pool, very nice. I like your design. We are in the process of "choosing" a pool builder, we would like to know who built your pool and if you would not mind telling us what price range for your pool? How did you like your builder/contractor and the whole process? We have been talking with a few companies, but have not made a decision. We are interested in a pool very similar to your pool setup. Again, your pool looks awesome, Enjoy!

Our pumps are running and we should be swimming tomorrow yahoo!! Titan should be onsite next week to highlight and seal our stamped concrete.

Looks great. Love the water color. Did you add the shimmering sea to your Tahoe Blue? Careful, your Dog may be the first one in if you're not looking.

Hi marpet - thanks for the post yes we did add shimmering sea and we really love the sparkle it adds. Deuce loves to look at his own reflection but will only get on the firt step when we get in atleast for now. Who knows he may get brave.

We got to swim on Saturday and Sunday it was great.
We did some more landscaping as well and hope to add another croton along next to the last palm on the right for balance. We have a flat of variageted liriope to plant in the bed as well (The Well-Behaved Liriope). Here are some pictures.
