You sure get a lot done in a day....I feel like a dead fish compared to you. You go girl!
Now that my foot has healed....today I did get some yard work done, went to farmers market for salad goodies, and did some light cleaning in the house.
Nothing major mind you, but it felt good to do what I did.
Hopefully more tomorrow, the weather this week is 80 degrees plus with no rain in sight.

I mowed, then I put all the leaves from in the corners of the yard through the chipper, and spread them as mulch. Then I hung up the first of two loads of laundry, dug up weeds, planted the rest of the plants, hung up the second load, mulched and watered the newly planted plants, ate lunch sometime in between, took a shower, pumped some water out of the rain barrel and watered the trees, put all the tools away and took the laundry down.

I am bushed.

Need to eat dinner, make the beds, finish packing for tomorrows bike trip.

We went to local Premium Outlets, for lunch and mainly looking for storage cases for a set of china. Couldn't find any(looks like BB&B on-line order), but....found a great casual handbag for summer for only $13.50 at Easy Spirit.
Went over to Le Gourmet shop - bought a french fry cutter (old one got lost in the move) and just couldn't resist one of those Topsy Turvy tomato hanging planters. Also found some lightweight T-shirts at the Gap.

Bought toilet paper!

Let's see--scrubbed the bathroom tile, cleaned the living room, rearranged the furniture in the LR, DR and sunporch. Visited with some neighbors, did a load of dishes in the dw. Packed some more boxes to move to the 'other' house. Got a couple of recipes entered in contests.

And now, it's time to relax and watch AI.

Didn't work today. Got the kids off to school, couple loads of laundry, read in between switching loads. Wrote letter to my MIL and included current pictures of the kids. (That's my good deed. DH asked so nicely.) Errands to bank and post office. Ran kids around to activities and made them quick dinner. Couple other small, everyday chores. Not a lot, really. It was a slow, easy day.

Monica, is your Premium Outlet mall at Grove City?? I have spent many happy hours at that mall and at the beautiful Target in Butler.

I spent 4 hours at our book sale site sorting, pricing, and setting out books for the sale on Friday and Saturday. We have had over 25,000 used books donated by the public. we are absolutely overwhelmed with the response form our request for books.

Then I cooked dinner and went to choir practice tonight.

Got up early (4:30). Read the papers, did the crosswords, showered, went with DH to his dr. appointment, went to the grocery, made a breakfast casserole for tomorrow morning, browned the sausage for the pizza I was making tonight. Took a short nap, went to our mail boxes, took the trash to the compactor, ran a quick errand, fixed dinner and now I'm just chillin'.

We were supposed to have more company coming in this afternoon (last batch left Sunday night). They had to cancel because her DH felt ill this morning, but they'll be here for lunch tomorrow.

Let's see ... I designed three 30"x40" back lit graphics for an upcoming tradeshow. Finished a couple of customer presentations and purged and organized my email accounts. Heading home soon to watch Dancing with the Stars.

Not much - listened to the radio program from various countries across the world through early morning hours while posting to KT and playing some solitaire.

Had a sleep for a few hours.

Had some breakfast; fed the cats (who'd been dispersed more than usual during the visit of the rambunctious female canine the other day - which also, when I heard her barking very excitedly down near the barn about 3 a.m. ... had "treed" a coon on the farm sprayer).

Checked email on computer, played some solitaire, wrote some messages here - still doing it.

Have income tax return to finish for my friend - she's going to be surprised at no fee, as it fits the no-fee preparation criteria for the folks who prepare them free, after training by the Canada Revenue Agency.

I need to start preparation of my own, as well - as I have a couple of (smallish) boxes of mail related to them from pension carriers, money management agencies, churches and charities, etc. that need to be organized.

If I run short of money when it comes to writing the cheque to go along with the return ... how's the chance of making a temporary loan?

You'll want a higher rate of interest than the bank pays, these days, I'm sure.

A while ago, they told me that they'd charge what the bank calls "bank prime" on my fully-secured Line of Credit, at 4.75%, then 4.25% ...

... then after a central bank drop in rates, a few months ago, told me that their prime was then 3.5%, but ...

... that, due to the difficult economic times, they had to make a surcharge of 1.5% ... so I'd have to pay 5.0%!

As most of the business that I do with that Line of Credit is deductible, I don't want to use it to borrow for a non-deductible purpose ... like paying income tax!

Actually ... this is smoke screen - I have enough on hand to pay the tax.

Or, rather ... I'd better have!

I'll sure be surprised if I don't! Last year I had to pay about 9% of my income.

And that you Canadians are enjoying prepping yours, now (if not earlier). If you're payng more than 9% of your income ... maybe I (or some other person familiar with how the income tax system works) can help you work a plan to pay less (next year).

LOL @ Glenda!! I didn't do much,went to the PO to mail a pkg to my GD,with a quilt i made for my GGS,and some other things.Then stopped at the 99cent store,then came home and babysat my other GS for the rest of the afternoon and talked to my BF on the phone.

Not much. I did one load of laundry today, made chicken and rice for dinner, watched TV, cleaned up the kitchen.

First, I rode into my husband's place of work at 6 am to pick up my vehicle which we had left on Monday evening to save an extra trip 16 miles home. I then traveled to an appointment at 8:30a-12:30p for Diabetes Clinic, then traveled home 16 miles to let the dog out to take care of her business, rested for about 30 minutes, returned to town (16 miles again)at 3:30 pm to accompany husband to an MD appointment, from there I then traveled another 20 miles to work at 6 pm until 10pm then home again....20 miles...

Now, whew, please, don't ask me if I want to go anywhere until late tomorrow afternoon...and don't call me before 10 am on Wednesday, because I will be sleeping in!

Ooops...I forgot, after picking up my Jeep, I went to the WalMart to pick up a few things before my appt at 8:30, did some on line banking things when I went home to let the dog out and I stopped off on my way to work at 6 pm to catch my breath at our son's house...helped him straighten a little and then went to work...pooped!

7:00 helped 3 kids get ready for school
laundry, did about 5 loads all together, folded and put in rooms
bought 3 flats of flowers, dropped of recycling
bought quite a few groceries, stuff for graduation
did dishes, fed all the pets, cleaned one bathroom, made lunch, cleaned to microwave and scrubbed the vent nice and shiny,
looked up food recipes for graduation, finished putting stuff back in living room after some big touch up painting.
picked up one child from track, brought one child to softball, parent teacher conferences-met with 4 of 8 teachers. Drove dh around the countryside so he could move implements (they are planting corn, poor dh is sick :( with a terrible cold too)
picked up softball child, went to wally world for meds and big bags of soil to amend my potting soil.
made child 3 lunch for tomorrows field trip. filled out National FBLA form for oldest child, wrote out tomorrows list of things to do while tile guy is here (what a fun way to spend my B-day). I dunno what all else I did, it's sorta a blurr right now. 11:15 I like being here at the end of the day though. no more work until 6:30 am

I spent most of the day sewing chemo
caps and bed jackets for my dear Sister.
She has only a few months to live and I
want to make her as comfortable as possible.
I live 600 miles away and will hop on a plane
the moment I am needed. She wants to stay at her

So sorry to read about your sister Dolly.

I went on a field trip with DS(10) to St Augustine. We visited the fort, the Old School House, and the Spanish Quarter. Later, a bunch of boys bought shocking pens. Ouch-I can't believe the jolt they give. By the time I got home, DH had went out to get us Bojangles chicken at the new restaurant that opened here.

I am sorry to hear about your sister Dolly. I am sure she will appreciate the things you are sewing for her.

Dolly, I've just said a prayer for your dear sister.

I did some crafting, then we went shopping. Got two tablecloths for our daughter, two bottles of Aleene's glue, and got vitamins for all 4 of our greatgrandkids.

Good Ole Indiana weather. You never know what your are going to get from one day to another.. Yesterday I went down to Indy to take my grandaughter to school. Then I stayed and went with my daughter-in-law to take the 8 week old twins to their doctor appointment. Then I stopped on my way home and picked up my grandson to bring home with me. His mommy is having her baby today. We are waiting for the call.

Today is just as busy. We will go see the baby later. Then I am going to go keep the twins so son, daughter-in-law and grandaughter can go see the baby, too.

Dolly, I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I lost my oldest sister 5 years ago to cancer. I live about an hour away and went up to see her often. She was home with all her loved ones when she died. When we knew the time was near, I packed my bag and told my hubby I would not be home until it was over. Sadly, she died on my youngest daughters birthday. I still miss her. I will be saying some special prayers for you and your family..

I worked, my 8 hour day, only had to stay a little over an hour while waiting for my replacement....which is a good thing. Our 8 hour days usually end up being 12s due to understaffing.
