Anyone use cork underlayment under laminate?

I know this is probably a 'flooring' question but that place is not as active as this one and I'm looking for experience

with having lived with it awhile.

We're doing the F.R. in laminate till we can get grandkids grown and maybe our Lab in doggie heaven, then we hope to get

the real deal. But, in the meantime, we have purchased laminate with the attached underlayment.

My hubby wants to put additional underlayment of cork but Armstrong says 'no way' will they honor their warranty if we do.

Hubby thinks warranties aren't worth much anyhow!

So, have you done what he wants to do--use a laminate with attached underlayment on top of cork? If so how long have you had it

and how has it worked for you and have you had any problems with the tongue and groove giving way?
