Doesn't look like cleavage to me If you're afraid it is then put a scarf there

I quit wearing anything showing cleavage when my cleavage started looking old.
Age isn't a factor if your breasts are holding up well.
Like Susan Sarandon, who is in her 60's but can still show cleavage, and Paula Deen who is a bit younger and shouldn't show it. Wrinkly skin isn't pretty, and if your's isn't then a bit of cleavage is fine.

I wear cleavage, and i'm 64.

Okay....as long as they're still above the waist, above a midriff, and not wrinkled.

Several of my summer dresses are cut to show a bit of cleavage. I'm uncomfortable with that at work, so I bought spaghetti-strap chemises (I think that's what they're called ... they're made of a silky material like an undershirt. I wear this under the dress, and they keep me covered.

I'm 62 and would wear that dress. I think it is lovely and you should not worry about it.

I call the spaghetti strap things camisoles, but that is what I wear under low cut things. I also use scarves - I tuck the ends into my bra so the scarf stays put.

4pm and summer? it looks great to me...do you know what your gf is wearing to the wedding? i know mog is sometimes expected to dress a certain way...but for ds1's summer wedding, i had a muted print dress that was cool as we had an outside wedding...

The dress is beautiful. In my opinion, I wouldn't worry about showing a little cleavage, just don't get a bra that pushes everything up under your chin and sticking out like a couple cantalope halves. LOL Go for it, kiddo. Dottie

I love the dress but unless you are really comfortable wearing it, I would choose something else.
It would be awful for you to have to spend the day feeling ill at ease.

Luckily, at 50, I still have perky boobs, so I'll show some cleavage as long as it doesn't draw the eyes directly "there". There's a way to wear cleavage and a way not too.

That dress looks like it will be fine. Just make sure the girls are up where they should be b/c they should not fall below that lined area....the line should fit right at the base of your boobs. When it falls in the middle is when it's a bad fit. Hope you know what I mean.

Go for it...and if you think it's too low, just get a black cami to put underneath.

I don't wear cleavage. I would buy a stretchy black top to go under it, then the problem is solved.

Well, I did pick up a camisole, black. I want it to look like part of her dress So I'll try that on with the dress and also go to our local fitting store to see what they can offer--not a push-up for sure! Thanks for all the opinions everyone. I think my skin looks ok, not crepey or wrinkley (yet).

You could wear with or without a camisole.

Susan, Susan, Susan.......If you've been avoiding showing a little cleavage for years, now's the time to go for it! I love the dress, and honestly, it doesn't look terribly low cut. Lots of bras today are cut low in front and have nice, smooth cups.

I'm 66 (for another couple of weeks, anyway) and a fairly conservative dresser. But I think a little cleavage is an attractive look for dressy occasions. Usually it's not much more than a hint--certainly nothing overwhelming.

I hope you kept the receipt for the camisole, because I want you to take it back. :-)

I am almost 68 and I show some cleavage now and then when appropriate. I bought a dress recently for my high school reunion next October and I need to get a new bra to wear with it. The dress is sleeveless with a v-neck. Since I spent most of my life being skinny and not having any cleavage, after I put on a little weight after 50, I am proud of my cleavage.

Susan, you made me laugh so much! Yes, I kept the receipt. I don't want to be prudish or matronly, but I don't want to look silly either!

I tried on so many dresses (not my idea of fun)--too short, too tight, made my hips look too big, etc. This one finally fit and had some flow around the hips, plus I liked the colors, so that's why I got it.

Personally, nothing against it. And, I used to show cleavage a lot when I was younger. Now the only one who sees it are baby possums. I'd have to roll my boobs up like a burrito to have cleavage now a days. I've gone too many years bra less.

Good! It sounds perfect. You'll feel great in it, and look great in it........that is, if you don't go for matronly with that camisole. :-)

Wear an undershirt! They call them camisoles. I swear by them. A black one would do the trick with that cute dress. Looks flattering!

Your dress is great! I say go for it. I bet it looks great on you and if you're uncomfortable with a bit of cleavage wear a cami under it, but I'm betting most women would be jealous if you show a little cleavage!

Where did you find that dress?

When I was younger I had no cleavage. Now my cleavage would take some heavy lifting. Being narrow across the shoulders v-necks and u-necks never looked good on me.

What ever makes you comfortable. If you're self conscious about it you won't have a good time. So, if you're uncomfortable, a camisole is in order, if you're comfortable, it will be great as is.

Reminds me of a dress I bought long ago. Remember the ones that had elastic under the boobs? It was low in the front. Never did wear it. Now I couldn't show cleavage if I wanted to due to having radiation on the right boob years ago. Boobs are two different sizes.

Socks, it is a lovely dress and I am sure you will look great in it. Go and have a great time. Not having wore a dress for so long probaly bugs you more then the dress itself. Go with it and look beautiful for the day...

I nev er had much of a chest, except when wear a push-up bra.
My back looks good, I have a few backless dresses that show off my necki and shoulders. Anything goes in womens wear. I had an aunt who wore red to a funeral and was gossiped about for years after.

I like everything about this dress, and I don't think it will 'showcase' too much. I see it's "Jones New York". They design for mature women -- at least *this* mature woman owns a lot of that label.

I love the print -- and the cap sleeves. Most of us get 'flaps' on our upper arms as we age. Even the First Lady will one day have 'flaps' and stop wearing sleeveless tops; just you wait!

Isn't that the truth!! I did get a JNY shrug-type sweater and a black shawl, so I'll decide which one I like better and return the other. Also the "foundation." I doubt I'll get slingback, but I'll get some black strap sandals. Oh yes, and I need a small handbag.

Oh yes, I have flaps. My girlfriend and I were laughing the other day about being careful when we wave at people in short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts! (Keep the elbow down!) She's the MOG and is wearing a sleeveless dress.

Well, I have never had any cleavage - so a mute point for me! But I really don't find the dress that low cut - and if your neck and cleavage are in good shape - go for it.

I don't wear cleavage...I work in an office full of men and because of this I am not comfortable in any situation wearing cleavage just because I never do and am not used to it.
We went to a wedding over the summer and I bought a dress that showed just a little bit of cleavage and I bought a wrap because it made me uncomfortable.

By the looks of that dress..I'm thinking you'll see "if you do at all"..(you see it looking down, but did you check straight on in the mirror)...not more than 1/2" of cleavage..

I do show cleavage..however..I do make choices about when and where..and a wedding in a nice dress is very fine.
