I'd buy your product!

I want a pay-as-you-go system for air conditioning, like the old coin-fed meters they had in England to heat bath water or turn on the heating bars in a fireplace.

We own a vacation rental condo on Maui. Some guests walk in, drop their luggage, turn on the A/C, open the sliders to sit on the lanai, go off to the beach, go sightseeing, go out to eat, etc. They check out a week later -- with the A/C still running -- and I'm stuck with a $400 electric bill for their stay -- the only 'green' in this situation.

Chisue - we were vacationing in Mexico recently. The hotel there had a good idea. First, the air conditioning automically went off when the patio door was opened. Second (and a great idea) we had to use our room key to turn on the electricity. When we left our room in the morning, we pulled out our room key and the lights stayed on for another 60 seconds or so then turned everything off automatically, including the air conditioning. Not sure how this would work in cold climates where the heat was needed but it's a great idea in an area that doesn't need heat.

Gadgets, I would buy your product. I'm so tired of all that carp (sic) on my screen especially since I use closed captioning which already obscures part of the picture.

Chisue, I stayed at a hotel in Kapalua that had the same thing as Scissors described...balcony door open...air con off.

Chisue, I was in Scotland and hotel had that for the light switch.

What I wish for is a robot cabana boy to bring me a warm towel getting out of the pool, during April, after water aerobics. Our bubble is coming off on Tuesday, and we always have a cool spell when it comes down.

I stayed in a green hotel in Syracuse NY that did that with lights and card. Good idea.

One reason I watch the Today SHow rather than Good Morning America is because GMA has that darn news crawl at the bottom. Sometimes the crawl is "talking" about some horrible tragedy while George and Robin are giggling over something.

Let me know when your "app" is available.

Could you please add a button that would turn off all that music in the background that makes hearing the dialogue near impossible?

I'd like to invent a device to find my car in big parking lots.

Petaloid: There are already technology products out there that allegedly do that! There are smartphone apps, products at findertechnologies.com, something called the IDC Ecco Intelligent Digital Compass Personal Pocket GPS Locator (on Amazon) and even a GPS device can be programmed to remember the coordinates of where you are and then tell you how to get back there.

I've not tried any of these methods yet (and I really don't want to be carrying my GPS device everywhere I go), but that little IDC Ecco looks very cool!

... a gauge you can attach to the dog to find out whether she really needs to have a walk to go do her business or just wants to go outside and chase a bunny or a squirrel. Now, she usually gives me a certain look that means we need to head out, but I don't know how many late nights (including in the rain, snow, sleet, heat) I've walked her around the neighborhood just giving her enough time and she ended up just not feeling the need to go!

A regulated system that forces all clothing manufacturers (no matter which country) to abide by a set of standard measurements, to the inch. So I can go into a store or order something online and not be surprised.

A spam filter for Jerod commercials, the Duggars, the 4timeFelon and Miss Piggy (not the Muppet - the cackling, racist, yeowlin' hawg), etc, that just doesn't allow them on so you don't even have to turn the channel to not put up with them.

A "fire" button on the steering wheel for idiot drivers.

A brightness control on people to turn up the common sense.

A remote control shocker for weather forecasters when they promise 80ð (or whatever) and then make 5 minute excuses to try to wave off responsibility. Wouldn't be activated if they came right out and said "I blew it". Maybe a pie in the face?

Same shocker should be used on broadcasters with their stupid teasers like "Will we have tornadoes this afternoon? I'll tell you tonight at 10!", "Coming up next/Still to come, _____" (and it doesn't show until 20 minutes later.

Oh there's so many things the shocker should remedy.

And not really an invention but I'd like to hire a monkey to watch the yard when people walk their dogs to do their duty on my yard instead of theirs. Once they walk away from it, the monkey would go fling the feces at them. An extra banana if you hit them in the head and 5 extra bananas if you hit them in the ear.

I hope you get it sold Shirley, sounds good to me if it bothers people. I don't watch much television so it doesn't really bother me. I am enjoying being outside this great weather we have been having.

I want an invisible bubble that surrounds my property and house and keeps all the horrible mosquitoes and bugs away!! We can not even step foot outside right now with out being carried away by mosquitoes it is horrible, oh yes and fire ants!

I would buy your ad block plus device for the tv!! I hate all those things popping up on the screen they are so distracting and getting bigger and bigger!

I also want a laundry bot, it carries the dirty laundry to the laundry room for me then when it is all done it folds it and puts it away! Remember the Jetsons!!
