Was at a business meeting on that side of town and knew just where I was having my main meal.

Not crowded as I was there after the lunch group had left-1:30.

Cool and rainy/drizzly all day.
Dinner was lasagna and garlic bread.

Cold and rainy here in Ohio too.

I had some of my leftover vegetable soup. Also had a lean turkey burger w/mustard and onion, no bread/bun.

Patti, thank you for asking I am ok, when I fell I hurt my butt & back but not the knee which was good. Today we had hot dogs & beans because I had to take a friend for her driving test. she lost her husband last year & she did not know how to drive so I have been teaching her. It was the written test today & then in 1 month it will be the driving test, just hope she passes that one.

Glenda, thank you so much--that's so cool!! What did you have besides a luscious piece of cornbread? I bought buttermilk at the store today--told Harry what it was for. He's still smiling :-) BTW, the restaurant looks spotless!

Shirley, hope the sun shines on you, too! We more often than not eat our burgers without the bun. We just aren't that crazy about them and they fill us up before half the sandwich is eaten.

It was much nicer here today. Low 80's but felt a lot cooler because it was windy. We played golf today and had lunch afterward. I don't feel like dinner....DH will probably have left over shrimp creole.

Mary, glad you didn't hurt your knee! Good luck to your friend on passing the driving test. You must have a lot of patience to teach someone to drive. My daughter took Driver's Ed in high school but her driving terrified me (and a lot of other people on the road--haha)!

Georgysmom, isn't this wonderful weather. We are having the very cool nights--in the 50's and 80's during the day. Wish it could stay this way all year round.

Angelaid, waaa, I'm pouting. I want what you're having for dinner! There's something soooo good about fried potatoes and onions. Sigh!

Yesterday was a gone most of the day trip and so was today. Yesterday lunch was all the soup, salad and breadsticks from the Olive Garden. Today was all you can eat salad, soup and bread from Bob Evans. I bought home a bowl of minestrone soup and breadsticks and a container of salad from Bob Evans. Today I bought home two bowls of loaded potato soup. Last evening I ate no supper. Tonight I had a bowl of the potato soup and the breadsticks from yesterday. I am having apple sauce too.

I found a Safeway store that has in-store 50%-75% off specials on the day after sales. So last week was a rib eye sale, New sales start today, Wednesday, so instead of re-packaging all that ribeye....it's on sale today for $2.75 a lb! Thin sliced steaks $1.62lb(I had them grind it into hamburger @ no additional cost). It's fun finding deals.....

We're having left over fried chicken, with potatoes on the side.

We had bacon and eggs. We have been working outside for a couple of days and feeling pooped.

Creative? Ha! No. I didn't want to cook. Well, I did make a big bowl of guacamole because Jody brought home 5 avocados yesterday and they were all ripe today and I had to do something with them. So guacamole and cheese toast. That was it. Too tired to do anything else after I did laundry all day long.
