Oh Glenda, I want your supper! We are having burgers on the grill and corn on the cob. No idea where it came from as local corn is months away, but hubby could not resist.

Had my big dinner at noon here so for my supper I just had a couple of my yeast rolls with butter and some radishes.

Picked up some groceries today, and at the third store, I finally found the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Boy they are hard to come by, it seems.

So I browned some pork chops, mixed up a chipotle pepper and some adobo, some honey and minced garlic. Brushed it on the chops and it made a glaze. The chipotles are huge!

Roasted some veggies and mixed with orzo as the side.
Boy was it good!

Jasdip, I put about 1/4 of a chipotle and a little sauce in my chili along with the cumin and chili powder. A little bit goes along way with those babies! I'm sort of a wimp when it comes to hot. I've never had a problem finding them here. Your veggies sound good, too.

Glenda, that's a great deal at $5!! Sounds delicious, too.

Renee, I used to have a rotissiere--it wasn't Showtime but it sure made nice tender meat. It was just too big for our house.

Sue, I wish we could get in the habit of having our main meal at lunch instead of evening. I've tried it a few times, but need to try a little harder.

I picked up a container of Stubbs shredded brisket bbq, so that on buns and roasted corn on the cob.

we went to a 80 birthday party today for my DH uncle. Had sloppy joes and hot dogs and cake there. We just got home and had cereal and toast for supper.

Roast beef, potatoes and gravy, green beans and home baked buns. (frozen dough, thawed and risen and baked) Apple slices and the homemade caramel apple dip for dessert.

We finally found an excellent Mexican restaurant tonight since moving 6 months ago from Houston (with MANY delicious Mexican places) to NE of Orlando. It was ALL SOOO good! Steak fajitas, guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, the best black beans I've ever had and even the rice was good! Finally!
