Hoarders--book about? Sounds interesting

In our paper (Minot Daily) the gal called Bookworm, reviews new books. Today she reviewed one called "Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding the the Meaning of Things" by Randy O Frost and Gail Steketee (approx 27.00). In her review she mentions some interesting things--such as putting items down, right here, but now cannot be found--also are you shifting from table to files to boxes to tables?? She said that recent studies show that from 2-5 percent of the population hoard. Those who never throw a piece of paper away, hit every dumpster, garage sale, and buy something because it is cute, or reminds them of something else.

Did you know there is a chatroom for hoarders, only limited numbers are accepted and the waiting list is in the hundreds.

The whole article is fascinating and I may look for the book. Gee I save stuff because I might need it some day, or it is on sale. Anyone need a pencil or pen or sticky notepad?
