Help choosing vinyl liner color/pattern

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's pool projects are going well! We are at the point where it is time to choose the vinyl liner for our pool. It's harder than I thought it would be! For a little background info., we are doing a kidney shape vinyl pool. We are using brick coping to tie in with our house. The pb uses Tara liners. Some of the colors are so bright, and some of the selections look so plastic-y. It's also very hard to imagine what the liner will look like when the water is over it. Hmmmmm...which one to choose?? I'd love to see photos of your vinyl pools, please! Thanks :)

Hi!! We just had our vinyl pool installed last summer and I agree picking the vinyl color is very difficult. We chose a grey color b/c I didn't want the color to be really artificially blue or something really dark. I also chose not to have a border put on mine b/c some of the borders are cheesey to me. I was very happy with my choice. Here are some pictures of my pool to give you an idea. I'll also include a close up of the liner so you can see the liner color and how it translates thoroughout the whole pool with the water in it. mine was a "custom" (that is the brand name) liner and the color was "adobe".
When the sun isn't on it it has more of a pretty grey/green/blue color.

Jenfiandra, Your pool is beautiful! You did a great job. I SO appreciate you sharing your photos with me. Some of the borders are very cheesy, and I want it to look elegant. I think I'm going to copy you and forgo the border and just pick a solid liner. Thanks again for your help!:)

Hi - Have been reading a couple weeks and so happy to have found this forum. We are in NY, just started the process and are stressed about choosing a liner also. I don't want to take to much time as my PB said it takes at least 3 weeks to come in once ordered. I did happen upon a PB website(somewhere in Ontario) that shows pictures of the liners and how they each look in a pool. Some are dark, but it was still much more information than I was able to find elsewhere. Hope this helps others out there. We still haven't made our final choice! I'm curious about the InHaus Sono product as well...we wanted Coretec but I'm curious about the InHaus Sono with the ceramic core. We have a lot of sun coming through the back of our house and we don't want a floor that fades or shifts in the heat. We frequently have hurricanes as well and end up with the power out and tons of heat and humidity in the house. Three kids and three dogs take a toll, too. If anyone has other suggestions on this post I'd love to hear them and photos are great, too!

Help choosing pattern and color for bench

Help. I've searched pinterest and Google and still can't find the perfect pattern and colors to paint/stencil/decal this bench for my son's bedroom. I finally decided on an area rug which is heavy on the primary colors. His bedding is blue, yellow, grey, and black. I like the simple patterns but I'm not sure just painting it a solid color would be interesting enough. My son loves letters and numbers. I'd like to keep it as simple as possible from a DIY perspective. I bought a chevron stencil I would like to use (but I can return it if someone has better suggestions). The bench is currently a light wood which I don't think works with the color scheme (or does it?). I love the idea of easy decals (maybe stars) with perhaps a chevron pattern on top or side. Would this work? Attaching pics of the bench, rug, and bedding. Thanks!

Sundeck Vinyl Liner Seam - HELP!

We are having a pool installed with an 8x8 sundeck connecting to full 20' long concrete steps. When we added the sundeck we asked the pool salesman if there is a standard size. We were told there is no standard. We chose Merlin Island Onyx as our pool liner. In researching liner colors I came across some photos of pools done with unsightly liner seams in the middle of the sundeck. I asked our pool builder to please ensure we did not have any seams on our sundeck and was told that there will be a seam every 6 feet. Are there any pros who have dealt with this issue? Are we less likely to see the seam given our liner color choice? Should we have gone with a 8x6' sundeck instead? What is done in the industry to preserve the aesthetic of the pool?
