What's for dinner 4/26?

I've been doing laundry and doing the dreaded cleaning today. Sista and BIL coming Friday to spend the night before heading back to Indiana for the summer. I have so many leftovers and we WILL eat them the next few days.

Tonight is tacos with leftover stuff from taco-rice the other night. I love tacos!!!

What are you having this evening?

Lloyds: catfish strips!

Got my haircut, and gal said she was going to Lloyds and get their fried chicken.

Can't beat Lloyds when you are in this neck of the woods!

We had tacos one day last week. We love them too Sue!

I had mini-sausages (breakfast sausages), stir-fried with peppers, onions and pineapple chunks in a soy, brown sugar, pineapple juice sauce over rice.

The rest of the apple pie and leftover chocolate-zucchini cake for dessert.

Right now Mike is cooking baked potatoes on the grill. I wrapped them in foil with sliced onion/butter/salt and pepper. Then he will cook the mushrooms wrapped in foil and steaks. I have some leftover coleslaw to go with it. I can't wait as I know it will be delicious. Not much cleanup tonight.

Just took a catnap, yawn! Marilyn Sue, you have such great feasts! Always yummy fixings. grilled steak is my meal of choice, georgysmom, but our decks are wooden, and no grills, anywhere, is the rule. mary, know your nana pudding will be delicious! Can you believe, no banana's in banana pudding. goodness gracious gadgets, saw a recipe, today for coney island hot dog sauce. I love spaghetti with meat sauce served over toasted bread spread with mayo. At home, alone :o)

I have a bone dry bed full of tepary beans that has been planted for two full month without one sign of life. I hear that in the wild they sit and wait for the summer rains, but that cold rain two days ago dampened the dust about six inches down. I wonder if that will kick them into life, if it's not enough, or if they've been quietly eaten by now by little beasts of various sorts. Experimenting, just experimenting...
