What is Torreon mean? We just did tumbled marble bullnose coping in noche, not sure if that is the same thing?

I think it is the brand? not sure we are using MAster Tile and that was what it was called, I could be spelling it wrong.

Do you have a picture of your coping I would love to see it!!! Do you really like it?

We are smack in the middle of our project so it is kind of messy. The coping and tile are done, they worked on the new drains today, tomorrow they start the travertine.

I am also leaning heavily toward the MasterTile. I like the Torreon Stone and the Noche. Trying to decide if I do the coping and the deck with the same. Haven't priced the deck yet. I wanted something a little different than the flagstone, but still affordable.

Just a note on flagstone...
The PB builders in our area are advising against flagstone
coping in salt system pools.
In fact, most (A&S one of them) have you sign a waiver if you do go with flagstone and salt system that exempts the flagstone from any warranty coverage.

I googled torreon, it looks similar, but the pictures were very blurry....so I couldnt tell if it was identical to what we are doing. They call the product we bought travertine or tumbled marble. We have no plans right now for the salt system. I know you need to be careful with flagstone and limestone. I am excited, it really looks beautiful. I will post another picture at the end of the day. Tomorrow we get our pebble tec:)

we went ahead with the Saltwater System, and think we are leaning toward the Noche bullnose, I am not sure how saltwater will affect that I am assuming it will still need to be sealed but I could be wrong. I do no our PB also was not to thrilled about the flagstone and salt and stressed that we would have to seal it every year (A&S in our area told us they they would not do salt and flagstone so we were going with chlorine but have since swith to salt)

the noche bullnose coping is only going to add $465 to the cost of the pool so not big diffrence in the scheme of things.

hpurvis-I checked into something similar, and our PB told me it was $30 per linear foot. We have 200 linear feet with the pool and the hot tub....you do the math...over $4K more. Who is this made by? I am having a horrible time trying to find coping as our PB offers the plain old brick coping, and the high, high dollar marble type coping.

we went with a coping from Master Tile, it is called Noche bullnose. It was $17.50 per foot of perimeter so $17.50 X 78' perimeter which came up to $1365 (minus the orginal coping of flagstone that was $900. So a grand total od $465 in upgrage cost.
