I am back from my trip

I left Daisy's house yesterday morning just before 9 and drove 606 miles to my house. I gained 2 hours and arrived home at about 7:30 last night.

I had a wonderful time and want to thank everyone for coming to meet with MaryAnn and I . I also want to thank Ruthie G, Jaybird, Kathy TX and Daisy for putting us up along the way.

MaryAnn, thank you so much for coming along on this trip. It was a blast and I am looking forward to doing something hopefully in the fall. Thanks also for putting me up for several nights at your house.

If you ever have the opportunity to meet a member of the KT or MH please do so. You will not regret it. The people on these forums are the friendliest, craziest bunch you will ever meet. I love them all.

Nita, it was a great trip. You brought people together who would have probably never met. They all love you, too, b/c there's just not anything about you not to love. I hope you do come back soon. It was just so much fun. It was a pleasure I hope to experience again soon. Love to you girl!!

Nita, I am glad you had a nice trip. Sounds like you had a wonderful time meeting up with everyone. Lucky you and lucky them for getting to meet you.

Hi I haven't visited the forum since last winter. Now spring has come and so do I:) I left 2 brug plants outside and I'm afraid they might not be able to come back. No sign. fortunatly I've taking cuttings and I was even able to share some with my friends. Also maybe half of the cuttings that Branda sent me last fall are doing OK. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can put them outside Happy gardening! Changsong

Thank you Kay. I think DK will always be in my garden. There is a ton of similar dls ( Forever Redeemed is one ) that are newer but can't hold a candle to DK... Thank you Julia!! Chris, I had that problem with several..that should have bloomed.. DE reminds me a bit of Ribbons And Things. Soft colors and just plain classy.. Nancy, I like Dream Catcher too and this year I had the best blooms ever on that one. DK is still king though.. Vickie, I was a little disappointed in Druid's Chant this year. It seem to have a hard time opening.. More to come! Hehehe!! Rita, I really like variety in my garden so I love to mix them up. I can't take any credit this time though since they are in alphabetical order. I'm glad you missed my postings and I did have a good time with the daughters. Hey, I went fishing and caught a 24" Lake Trout...Yum. Sharon, DW was really nice this year. The colors were nice and clear! Debra, I think we have a lot of the same tastes in dls. Except, I like Dream Catcher too!! Look ahead..part 9 is on the way.. Julie, those are both very soft colors. Sometimes I like bold but always I like soft pinks and near whites such as DOD.. Linda, it's always hard for me to decide which I like best. This is the best year I've had wit Ebony Velvet but then, I haven't had it that long.. Thank you all for your comments....Ellie

Hello Everyone... Hi Iso, Have a great trip to Germany....Hug your mom tightly and give her extra kisses!!! I hope that your hubby will get that job in Hawaii!! We'll keep our fingers crossed.... We can all visit and help you go shopping for Plumies!! Then we can really get into another frenzy!!! LOL... Love all of the pics from Hawaii...those blooms are just beautiful...AWWW.....to smell them now!!! Then to watch the sunset over the Pacific....what a day!!! I'm glad you and your sister had such a great time. I loved my short curly hair when it came back too and called it my chemo cut. Loved the curls but they only lasted for a few cuts and then they were gone. A friend of mine has a picture like you describe. I'm anxious to see yours. It will take awhile for your sister to get over the fatigue that comes with treatment. I can't say I ever got all of my energy back....but then again, I am older now.

Hi Nita, I'll bet you are glad to be home. It was a blast keeping up with you and the others on the Wild Texas Trip. I sure hope I can get to the next get together.

Wow, Nita, doesn't time pass fast when you're having fun!! It seems like you were just posting your trip schedule and here you are, already back home. It was such fun getting to meet you and the others here in Tyler and Vannie was such a lovely host. It's great to know that there are other KTers right here in town and thanks to you, I got to meet them.

Welcome back! It doesn't even seem like you were gone..... You did such a great job of filling us in on all the fun, and we loved the pictures.

I don't know how you can keep up with that kind of schedule, but sounded like a lot of fun. KT people a always fun!

Thank you very much for sharing the story of your trip with us, Nita.

And I appreciated the pictures - seeing the faces of folks whom I've come to know by name only for several years was a real treat.

When Pooh Bear and I got together nearly five years ago, when people asked for pictures ... Pooh was apologetic, as his camera had been lying right there ... and we hadn't thought to take pictures.

Caroline and Danielle did, when I drove to Saskatchewan and Alberta, last year.

I got a call from Nita... while I was out bicycle camping AGAIN! :)

I also want to ad, Nita is the GREATEST. She gives encouragement and love to all her friends, even us cyber friends.

She is just awesome, and I am very glad she got back home ok.
