I don't get Google's pic

I guess I'm dense, but I just cannot figure out what their banner is supposed to be. Metal maracas? Metal Tulips? It's just going to bother me all day if someone here can't tell me what it is.

Thanks for asking Donna, now I may get to find it out too. My daughter and I don't get it either.

I don't know, but Cinco De Mayo is coming up, it could be Maracas. Festivals start this weekend.

Diane, like all things - it does pass and this snowfall happens maybe every 20-30 years. Last year there was almost no snow. As for humour...now when I come inside for a coffee break, I'm so sweaty I can actually tear my top off and run around half naked to cool off and no one can see me! They can't even come to the door for the snow piled up - no flyers! no junk in the mailbox! Heaven. The only person who can see me is hubby, who's working and didn't even look up when I ran upstairs for a light top! Now that's what I call love. Nothing but love! He's blinded by it!

hlove: Ah, we have similar taste! My sister-in-law designed our bathroom and gets credit for the floor idea (I picked the green accent tile and showed her pics of what I liked and she did the rest). The floor tile actually comes all white. It was her brilliant idea to pop out a few of the white tiles and insert the green glass tiles as accents. Honestly, I ADORE how it came out! It gives the floor the perfect amount of sparkle! If you want, I can ask her where she found the white floor tile (the green glass tile came from Lowes). Best wishes with your shelf hunt and upcoming bath remodel! janealexa: Lol! I was just about to start glass shelf shopping! You caught me in the nick of time! Yes, I like clean simple lines too and don't want to clutter things up. I'm glad you agree that the light would look too high if we moved it up (yes, DH would NOT have been happy with that request, the poor guy has been busting his butt on our new house for so long, the last thing he needs is unnecessary added work from me). So - I will keep it as is! And yes, I LOVE this forum!! Everyone is so incredibly kind and helpful! Truly amazing people on here! I am so grateful for all of your help, and don't know what I would do without you! Thank You! :)

Emmarene. I should definitely start growing that to keep them away from my other plants! It's sad but I've gotten used to the disappointment of going outside and seeing something I really loved just pecked to death. Usually means I have to dig it up and baby it back to health on a very high shelf. We love arranging creatures aroind the base of our plants! It's fun to set up a little scene! I don't know what this plants name is either but it has a little pup and an adopted pup :) Eloise Thank you! I don't know why I want it to be pathos so bad, I think it has something to to with my english class and rhetorical appeals. I've been writing the word pathos for the last week. Haha I have two other types of begonia and they arent growing as well as the angel wing. One was almost completely dead but it came back. I love how some plants do that!

I bought this orchid at safeway 2 years ago and it's still going! I am a little shocked because I forget about it all of the time in its corner outside and it's getting ready to bloom again. I need to remember orchid food. It's looking rough!

I don't know what they are either....

Google has built a large new building not too far from me...(They are the ones who bought and tore down our drive inn theater....so I don't like-em...."S")

Not sure if they are in operation yet...but I know they offered a lot of new jobs in this area.

I think it's a way for you to personalise your google page. I clicked on the picture and was taken to a page showing designs from various artists - I can get Anne Geddes, Rolf Harris, The Wiggles, Ken Done etc - and you can select any one of their designs as the header for your google page.

I clicked everywhere I could, but didn't find what I was looking for. Either I missed it the first time or it wasn't there the first time, but I finally found a link to the artist's page. Lo and behold, I saw more of what was Google's logo. Metallic balloons!

They want you to make Google your home page, so they are giving you a way to personalize it.

I've had Google as my home page for a looooong time now, because I don't want to miss any of their special logos. I saw today's logo right after midnight, and checked to see what it was about. I'm kind of tempted to do a Google Artist home page, but I'm afraid that it wouldn't show their special logos when they have them.

So, I'm going to stick with "regular Google."
