My baby will be able to see me soon

I just noticed that Favio's eyes are starting to open. At least, the right one, a little bit. He is doing very well. He has had some problems with constipation. That had me concerned because he eats so much. I gave him a little enema this morning, and that remedied the matter. I have never given anything an enema, but I had one of those very flexible feeding tubes that I use for the possums. They have a rounded end and are very thin, so that served the purpose and got things moving. Maybe too much info, but y'all said to let you know how he is doing. I do know to stimulate him to help him go, and he pees a lot but not the other. I have spent extra time doing that and gently massaging his little abdomen, but when he didn't go for going on four days....I was really getting worried. He is such a good kitten....purrs all the time. I have some pictures on my camera and will post them this evening. He is going to be spoiled rotten, I can tell you that much..

I have a plant that looks like yours, and dang if the name doesn't fall out the back of my brain every time I haven't used it for a few days. I only ever remember it is a fairly long word that starts with a "P", and has Mona something in it. OK, dug it up: Plectranthus possibly Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'

How soon is too soon to prun my seedling?

This is a picky matter of semantics, but one would more properly refer to "pinching" seedlings as opposed to "pruning" them. I have a vision of you approaching a flat of little seedlings, lopper and pruning saw in hand... LOL Lillies4supper, we could help you better if you would tell us what seedling plants you are growing. There are a number of plants that benefit from pinching back to a set of leaf nodes. The purpose of pinching is to encourage additional side shoots to grow; for annual flowers, this will produce a more floriferous plant, a definite plus! I also regularly pinch back my seedling herbs since I want lots of foliage. If your seedlings are leggy due to too little light (as gcreek suggests may be the case), depending on the plant, a bit of pinching may be in order, too. Some plants may be pinched earlier than others; some need to grow more. A plant with but 5 leaves may or may not do well; again, if you tell us what the plants are, we may be able to guide you better. Thank you ellen. They only look attractive because they're newly purchased lol. I don't have any cacti though, i wouldn't know the difference of caring for them and other succulents. Yes, I tried to do arrangements but i haven't had much success in making all the individual components thrive. I think you have to choose the ones with the same water and sunlight requirements. I'm still figuring that out. For instance, in my limited experience, sedum rubrotinctum doesn't like playing with others. (Or maybe the species just outright hates me). I keep the young offsets and propagating leaves in plastic containers and small pots because i heard they needed more moisture (please, anyone, correct me if i'm wrong). Put function over form. In your case, given that it's also a bathroom for use after swimming, I'd absolutley include the shower. This is alot coming from me, because I am very picky about not having a shower in a powder room, and went to great lengths in my own remodel to ensure that our powder room didn't have one. But, we don't have a pool. We don't have people traipsing through the house to get to a shower. No, you really need the shower in that powder room, in my opinion. And you can totally make it as beautiful as any powder room you've seen here, I'm certain of it. As to the camouflage, I'm sure it's doable, with a good carpenter, for a cost. On the other hand, if you do a really beautiful shower, and you can get over having a shower in your powder room, then why hide it.

awwww how sweet he is. I had to do the warm wash cloth massages on the bottoms to a few of the itty bitty ones too. Those momma's know just what to do!

Glad you thought of the enema, Marilyn. I'm afraid I wouldn't have. Favio's a lucky little guy and I think he knows it! He sure found a way out of that truck so you could take care of him. It's nice to be appreciated, isn't it?

I think it's so cool that your baby already knows you so well- heartbeat, smell, touch, voice, probably even taste and soon will actually see you too. Favio is going to be your special heart-cat, I think. Treasure him, Marilyn! Enjoy every second.
