I have been a frequent reader for the past 2 + years. We finally decided to take the plunge and build a pool and spa. We are in Thousand Oaks, CA. The pool dig started on March 24, 2008 so we are entering Week #4.

Here are the basics.

+36 x 16-19 ft. free form

+18' Raised Bond Beam w/ faced 3-Rivers Flagstone

+Spa w/ stacked 3 Rivers Flagstone and large spillway.

+All Pentair Intellitouch equipt. incl. 400 BTU Heater, salt, remote, 2 pumps, blower, LED's..

+Hayward Navigator Sweeper

+Pebble Sheen - maybe Turtle Bay

+Stamped, colored concrete deck and coping.

I will try to attache pics as we make progress. The GC predicts we will be swimming in 2 weeks....

Everything has gone smooth, we have a great GC and crew. The only hiccup was getting a call from the city during the dig to tell us that we had a 12 foot utility easement that went into the spa...We shifted the spa out further from the property line and moved on...boy was that a little nightmare !!
