The Amazing Race last night.... did you watch?

Man, I'm tired of this show starting 40 minutes late every Sunday night that it's on. Sheesh. Is this CBS's way of getting more people to watch "60 Minutes"?

So, what did you think? I think Mike and Mark need to revisit the rule book! lol That's 2 weeks in a row that they've had penalties and these ones were HUGE! Nearly cost them the game, too, they got really lucky in was a non-elim round.

The denture task was um, interesting. I was sort of embarrassed for those 5 people, I hope they were paid highly for that. Margie did great, though. I was pretty impressed, in fact, she impresses me every week. The karaoke thing- talk about too easy- didn't even see any real traffic problems, just a lot of bad singing. And were they really transvestites? If so, Mark and Mike are going to be embarrassed.

When Margie and Luke hit the mat and the bird warbled "HELLO!" I just died, that tickled me to pieces. I would have ignored Phil and just talked to the bird. lol

I thought it was a good episode last night, but the previews for next week's show looks a little less nice. I hate when tempers get short and people start shoving. I guess a good body-check is against the rules, huh? 'Cause I think that one sister could take Luke DOWN. Really.

This year's show has been on for quite a few weeks now, and I still don't have a person/couple to 'hate'. lol What this proves to me is that they can have a very good show without a bunch of crackpots on as contestants. As for the guys, what can I say.......they need remedial reading lessons (or at least reading comprehension), I guess, as they keep missing out on what the rules are. So far I'm rooting mostly for Margie/Luke.

Casey's right on. I'm not 'aligned' with anyone yet, but do favor the cowboys at this moment. They really had an advantage with the cow milking, etc. lol I really didn't want anyone to go home yet. Sort of wish they'd have 3 or 4 episodes with no eliminations, just prizes for being first, and of course in the timing of who leaves first in the next episode. I watched part of it. I don't like hip-hop, but I am a Pop fan so I did like some of the performances. I thought the band was way too loud though on all the songs. I would have liked to have heard the artist's voice. I agree that Jerry Lee did look ill and Miley looked older than she really is. I didn't mind Winehouse's songs, but I kept thinking she was going to pull up her dress or something..she was almost doing the crotch-grabbing thing some of the guys do. She did seem genuinely surprised and happy to have won though. I liked the song Kayne West did for his Mom. It actually made me a little teary. I thought the Beatle's tribute was wierd. Maybe I just didn't get it? Overall I think I would have enjoyed the show if the band hadn't been blaring over the artist's voice on every song.

I liked the first group better. Don't like several of the people in the second group. My initial impression of Zach is that he sounds like a real jerk. Marilyn, the biggest news from last night was more information about the HOH and the houseguests nominated. There's going to be 2 HOH, each who will nominate 2 for eviction - putting 4 in danger of going home. There will then be a Battle of the Block where the 2 compete against the other 2. I believe that the 2 who win means that the HOH who nominated them is then no longer an HOH which puts that person in jeopardy also, but I'm not clear if that's an automatic thing or if they can choose the other HOH to step down.

They knew exactly what they were doing they knew exactly who the money belonged to and they willfully took the money knowing that it was WRONG! I hope karma slaps them real hard. I think they should be called out about it and have a consequence for their actions. I think they basically forced the other team to take part of the money so they wouldn't be the only guilty ones. The fact that the guys were able to so quickly recover in that country was amazing and was very good karma at work which makes me think that the negative karma will be fierce for the twins. I am sure their families are so proud of their behavior. The fact that the guys realized in the same room with them that their money was missing is an important part of this equation, they could have very easily said oh wait we found it, here you go.

We recorded it, but with the delay we ended up missing the very end.

In what order did the last two couples finish? Did the girls get penalized too? We know those last two teams did some real dumb things, but I guess we didn't notice the guys and what rules they broke.

I hate it when things run over like that. It's just too hard to know how long to record it.

Gosh, lets see if I remember this. The sisters got to the mat just ahead of Victor & Tammy. But, sisters could not be checked in because they did not have their travel documents. They had to go back to the boat yard, get their stuff then, back to the finish mat. Michael & Mark decided to go back for their back packs before they did the challange. They used most of their money on the taxi back to the boat yard and then back to the location of the challange. They got to the challange, finished it and headed to the Temple where the finish mat was. They did not have enough money to pay the full taxi fare so they gave some of their own personal 'stuff' to the taxi driver as payment. They got to the mat before the sisters returned but, got the time penalty, 4 hours?, because they used there own stuff as payment. The sisters got back to the mat, were checked in as the 4th team to arrive, no other penality. Michael & Mark were then checked in as the last team to arrive but, it was an non elimination leg of the race. The catch is, on the next leg of the race they will have extra stuff to accomplish. Plus, there was time left on their penality after the girls returned, that time, about 30 minutes (?) will be added to their start time. They will start the next leg of the race last, plus what ever was left on their penality.

OK, Kids...did I get that right?

Thank you Sooey! We saw about the first half of what you told, so I trust you completely on the facts! lol

I can't imagine the brothers coming back from all of that. I would like to see Margie and Luke win, but their are some others that deserve it to.
Those Ti challenges were strange.

Thanks, I think I got it right but ya never know. If it's off, it's not by much. We'll see the re-cap next week.

I think I'd like to see Margie & Luke win but I think Victor & Tammy have a good chance to win it all. But who knows, we could all be surprised!

I'm thinking they'll have a 3 hour and 20 minutes delay to their start time next Sunday to fulfill their 4 hour penalty, that they checked in 40 minutes into their time, after the girls got back with their stuff.

Thanks for that, Flamey. I was not sure if I saw 30 - 40 minutes had expired or 30 - 40 minutes left. It will be a good one, I'm sure.
