Mindy et al, I got that tall blue pot I had my eye on. It might have been $200 marked down to 40 marked down to TEN DOLLARS. I also got a big metal/copper bucket marked down from at least 150 to $37.50 (I don't think she did the math right. I'll have to check in the morning. I had wanted something like a watering trough near the bees, and this might fill the bill. Or we can use it for logs. That magnificient green pot. I met the nice guy who works the floor. I told him what I wanted to pay for it and without my knowing it he called the ?manager? anyway a woman, and she no way was she going below $160. I think the problem is there was no pink marked down price, so it was 75 % off 699. I really don't want to pay that much because I know I won't move it in freezing weather, and it may break. I'm only willing to risk 100 or less. If anyone can talk them down to $100 or less, I'll take you to LaPatisserie for lunch or Quebrada in Arlington for a cake. Could also do Lakota for a dozen cookies. There's a challenge for the bargainers out there! I'll pay you back in cash and could even meet you at Mahoneys to load and transport pot. Mindy, I saw two "maroonish" pots (one upside down, the other on top) on the pallet, next to the sky blue tall. Are those the ones you are talking about? If there was a salmon pot in the "transition room" I missed it entirely. I'm not looking at your post right this second, but I thought you said it had some branches dispayed it it. Fri night was out with friends for Happy Hour, yesterday was relaxing at home and getting totally caught up on Mad Men. I am TOTALLY addicted to that show now! Today we are having another couple over for a BBQ - sometimes it is nice not to have a gang and just sit and enjoy a quiet evening with grown up conversation. Tomorrow we are thinking about going to the NJ shore (I am cringing at the thought, I don't care for the shore) so we'll see. Maybe I will send the men folk off and have a canning day to myself. Hey, Kids, Well, the brother and sister are, no more. I was so surprised to see that happen. They were just about the strongest team and I think they could have won. They were smart, nice to each other, good with the challenges. But, not good enough. So, the father and daughter came in first, good for them. They did well. That cheerleader, Jen and her tall boyfriend really need to get a grip. Again, she acted so much like a spoiled child. The taxi driver would not let them get in his cab, wet...'that's SO unfair' I hope they leave next. The Grandfather and his grandson are hanging on. They did well with the rowing. The Goths are also doing well. So far, they have been a good team. They did a good job on the wall climbing. I think that she is the stronger of the two...in many ways. It would be interesting to watch it again to see just how much all the airline issues affected the outcome. I agree that they spent a lot of air time last night showing the back and forth between the lines, back and forth between the offices, all trying to be in the right place at the right time to get tickets. After all of that, the first plane was late and two teams missed their connection. Plus, the brother and sister were given business class tickets...think that was their fault? It does not matter. What do you think would have happened if they had gotten on the plane in business class? Would they have been eliminated anyway? We will never know. It's over for another week. No show until the 23rd? I might have to tape it. Don't let me forget...K? sooey

Their blog was great, very gracious and thankful. My husband and I have been married for 38 years and we bicker back and forth often it is not fighting it is just us being us, in the middle of it we might blow kisses or smooches or say but I love you. All our friends know it and know we are basically just playing with each other. Living together long term as the beekmens have you do things like that, better to let it out than let it build up into something explosive. They were even nice in their descriptions of the evil twins. I personally would never in real life have a friend that would steal from anyone anywhere, and I certainly would not think very highly of them. If those girls were so quick to steal that money in front of a tv cameara being broadcast around the world it lets me know it is not the first time and probably won't be the last. That kind of behavior came very natural to them, only after they thought a minute about it did they basically force the other couple to take part of it by shoving it into their hands. I just won't associate with a thief. I had a so called friend that came to a party at my home, found she had gone into the room with the coats and purses and stole out of the purses. I had to make apologies and feel horrible that now people felt they could not come to my home and feel secure. That was the last time she was in my home or anywhere around me. Had she asked me to borrow money if she needed it that badly I would have. I later found she was doing drugs and was going down a dead end road.
