the outdoor drain is a storm drain, and you cannot put laundry discharge into it. so you will require plumbing both HOT and COLD to the new locaiton, plus a drain and a vent. this means digging up the floor. how much diggin is involved, well it depends on how close to the existing drain system you are. it could be a small hole, or it could be a trench that runs WAY across your house. it honestly may be cheaper to move the dryer. all i can say is to call and get some estimates.

Thanks so much for your response Zuggy. Until I made the post it never ever crossed my mind that people would actually use an outdoor hot tub when it was cold out, moreover when it was snowing. Wow. I thought if it was outside you only use it part of spring and fall and the whole summer but not during the winter. I've lived in the North East never the mid-west so this is a new concept to me. Thanks for sharing. We're considering a house on a lake. If we don't get that one there is one with a pool and hot tub that is also a possibility -although, I am not really a pool person (especially since despite multiple swimming lessons I can't even float). I'm with you re having some decor to disguise the tub. P.S. Please share pictures when you are done

Well, I am still battling one! I was dumb enough to release one that I caught and it just came back in and brought a friend. I have now sealed the area where they were coming in, so no more should be able to squeeze through. Yesterday I caught one in a trap like yours bacon - no more mercy! There is one left and I got these new traps that came this morning, I’ve just not had time to set them up.

Our house is a blend of craftsman and farmhouse, and my furniture style is very eclectic - formal dining room furniture, casual other - probably what you would call transitional. There is no TV in the sunroom, and I foresee just relaxing with my iPad, reading and having low bookshelves under the windows on the view side for books, especially for the grandchildren. Here are inspiration photos, and that is the tile floor that will be installed, and I love that rug on it too. Maybe for the longer wall in front of the windows a rattan sofa?
