Where did you find them? That is what I am looking for for my powder room. They are great!

Your bedroom looks beautiful from what I can see! I like a chandelier in the Master bedroom and plan on putting one in our new home.
I prefer #1 of the two that you have posted. Your bedroom has a very clean look and I think that #2 is too fussy for your room.

I would love a chandelier in mb but we need our fan (texas). I like them both but I would choose #1 mainly because it has more light.

I think #1 would look wonderful in your room! It looks more classy and sophisticated than #2.

I have the first one, and it's lovely, but I'm thinking it might be too small for your bedroom. For example, mine is hung over my kitchen sink/window. I'll see if I can find a picture of mine to give you an idea....good luck!

I love a chandelier over a bed. We have one in our room and I just love it. I'd suggest putting it on a dimmer switch too. I think the first one would look great over your bed. Here's a pic of mine:

Of the two, I much prefer #1. But I think it is too small for the space, and I think that it may also look odd hung where the light fixture is now. I won't end up over the bed, but in the middle of the room like a dining room chandelier that shrank.

Honestly, I think the room is wonderful as it is. It has a quiet elegance that doesn't really call out for that style of chandelier to interrupt the lines of the room.

Thank you for all you great comments. I've seen some beautiful bedrooms, powder rooms and kitchens with chandeliers and wanted to incorporate one somewhere in my house. Out of the blue I thought that suddenly my bedroom looked more masculine than I had realized and thought a chandilier would "girl" it up a bit. Here's the site for the chandelier. chrissay, your bedroom is gorgeous, and not masculine in the least. If you really want a chandelier, I would only suggest looking for a slightly larger one that fits your beautiful room - check out places like Home Depot and Lowes, or on the web, Overstock.com. They have a pretty good and varied, reasonably priced selection of chandeliers and pendants (plus cheap, sometimes free shipping, as well.)

I agree that a chandelier would look great & would also go for one slightly larger as recommended by PP's. I can just catch a glimpse of yor bedside lights. Do you think that a 'crystally' chandelier would pair well w/ them? Do you have another pic to show us the bedside lights to get a better idea?

I have two of the first chandeliers in my kitchen. I love them, but they're very small and dainty-feeling. I would be inclined to think they'd be too small for a featured fixture in a bedroom.

Our room is very small and it's hard to get a good shot to give you a true feel for the room. In the second picture, there is enough room between the end of the bed and the dresser to walk by comfortably (that's how small it is). Looking at reno fan's fixtures, I agree that it would be too small. And ttodd, I thought the same about the style of our bedside lights--clashing with the girly bling of the chandelier. If not a chandelier, what could I put up there. I currently have one of those "boob" mounted fixtures as I have affectionately heard called on this forum. LOL!

I think the first chandelier is lovely but I agree, it should be larger, more comparable with the size of your bed, not the room, like choosing the chandelier for the size of the table.

I think #1 is beautiful and would look great over your bed.

Well, I think I'll keep looking for another fixture. I ended up buying the first chandelier and may put it somewhere, maybe our powder room we plan to do over some day.

love my littlehome, the paint color is BM Pittsfield Buff. It's a very soothing cream-like color that takes on a light gold in the evening. I'll try to find a closer picture of it.

The only bad thing about chandies is cleaning them. Any tips on that?

Chrissay - I have been racking my brain to think of where, once upon a time, I saw a chandelier that had very clean lines and the crystal accents were more like glass beads. Your room looks very "pottery barn" to me, and I thought that is where I saw that chandelier, but checking their site didn't produce any results. If I finally run across something similiar - I will sure post it for you. As I remember it, it would suit your room wonderfully.

Love-my-lilhome the color is BM Pittsford Buff. It has a pretty tan-yellow hue to it in the day and a light golden hue in the evening light. It's very pretty.

I've never had a chandelier before Oceanna. I imagine it's even worse than cleaning a ceiling fan!
