Laurie, Happy Halloween has the best branching and budcount (5-way branching and 40 buds), a 5-inch bloom and reblooms. Halloween Trick has a slighly larger bloom at 5.5 inches, a thicker edge, 4-way branching and 35 buds for scape, but does not rebloom. Halloween Hocus Pocus has the same size flower, reblooms, and is supposed well-branched and budded. I couldn't find exact counts on buds and branching for it. They all sound good. I'd go with the least expensive one. I would be suspicious of a seller starting the bidding at $15. All I can say is, you get what you pay for. In my opinion, you might get fans the size of a pencil. You should buy from a reputable seller. I would avoid Christy's this year because she is not personally handling the orders. Marietta and Patron are good. Did you check their prices? Debra

Bury three or four crumbled/broken tums around the plants and the end rot will go away. You can also spray the plants with a little bit of diluted milk for the end rot. Sure it will. Or you can wave a magic wand over the plant while you hop on one foot and whistle "Dixie" and it will go away even faster. :) what would cause the leaves to curl up like that? It is called "tomato leaf roll" and is a common response of the plant to extreme stress. Identifying the source of the stress is the problem since it can be pests, temperature extremes, inconsistent soil moisture levels, nutrient issues, etc. etc. Pests and soil moisture issues are the most common causes. I looked it up and its caused by too much moisture in the soil or a calcium deficiency or perhaps a mixture of both. It isn't necessarily "too much moisture" as it can just as easily be too little moisture. It is INCONSISTENT moisture levels in the soil that causes it in conjunction with the root development in the plant. Calcium is there but it isn't getting distributed to the blossom end. Stabilize the soil moisture levels and as soon as the roots develop sufficiently it goes away. Meanwhile toss those fruit to reduce stress on the plant. @vaporvac - not sure if they are completely dead yet. But they look mighty sad. I did plant them deep, so there is the hope of growth from below. It's not just the kordes though, it's everything else too - carruths, meillands, etc. I just had heard so many things about Kordes hardiness that I was shocked to see them dead to the ground. Poisedon, Cherry Lady (aka. fiji) & Summer Sun look terrible. However, Rosanna has buds starting on her lower canes already. But I will get out this week and start pruning away & see what happens. The austins have at least a few inches to a foot above the ground & the canadian roses have plenty of green. I do want to make a proper list of the roses that have some good starting cane left though for records. I was surprised to see a lot of green on Bolero & Wild Blue Yonder.

I have the same dilemma and am considering the Solae at Article. Due to some negative reviews regarding the Sven sofa, I am shopping around like you are. I'm only commenting because of the previous comment. Buy what you want. Modular furniture with a low back is very popular and I personal want it for unobstructed views. It's a little insulting (or maybe ignorant) for a person to suggest you actually sit in a sofa made by a company that is only online. Also the dimensions of the Solae piece is equal to an average length sofa. I believe 2.5 to 3 people can sit comfortably. I haven't seen negative reviews about seating. Find an open minded consultant.
