So far I haven't done too much.....Did change the bed but since then I've been glued in front of the computer watching our local eagles....All 3 of the eggs have hatched and the eaglets are all eating well...It's amazing to see the parents and how attentive they are to their new family......
I have a feeling I won't be getting too much done today, lol

I didn't get up until 9:30 this morning. DH and I had a bite of breakfast and he went to his fathers (88 years old) to help him a sump pump in the basement.

Our remodel of the bathroom is almost complete, so I took a leisurely bath and am not waiting for DH to get cleaned up so we can run errangs.

I'm off to a good start! A local bookstore is closing :( and they had a sale. Before it opened we popped into the large grocery store next door that we haven't been in a while.

Today was No Tax day, and I've been scouting for a reasonably-priced 12" stainless skillet. I balk at paying $75 and more. We also need replacement heads for the rechargeable toothbrush.

Well, I lucked out. Found a perfect skillet for $34.99, and store-brand replacement heads (that fit the Oral-B Vitality) for $14 (Vitality are $25). And NO tax! I'm a happy camper.

We never did go to the bookstore...... figured we treated ourselves as it is, without spending more money :)

Cold, wintery, blustery day. We couldn't wait to get home, and now I made some hamburger buns that Terri_pcnw posted in the dinner thread, and oatmeal-carrot muffins on the go.

Overcast, cold, so far here in Ohio. Sun is to come out later on.

This is one of my 'little of this, little of that' days. There are always odds and ends that need attention. I have a pot of split peas on cooking.

Very slow! Slept late, yawn!

Let's see. I slept almost until 9 since I did not get to sleep until 2, thanks to an upset stomach.

Had breakfast and coffee and goofed around on the laptop for awhile. Went back upstairs and got dressed, even put on eye makeup.

I brought home a yoga DVD from the library, so I gave that a try but yoga is just too slow for me. I prefer the Leslie Sansone walks, although I really do need to stretch more.

Cleaned up the kitchen including the top of the range and ran the dishwasher. I listened to an NPR podcast while cleaning, which I enjoyed.

I headed outside to do some yard cleanup, but brr, despite the partly sunny skies, there is a chilly wind. I picked up a few branches and came back in.

I just had a PB&J for lunch and have to figure out what's next. My plan had been to work in the yard, but I need to find an indoor project.

And here I am!

Well 2 are out the door..baseball..Kellan has practice, Kam has a scrimmage that starts in 1/2 hr..down at the park near our house..so BD and I will be heading down in about 20 min.
Breakfast is done, dish washer will work while we are away.
First thing this morning I received pre discloser paper work, we locked in an interst rate on the home loan yesterday afternoon! In under 4% it's been sitting at 4 since we started the process.
Closing is set for the 30th. Eeek... Oh and the sellers are fixing all the repairs called out by the inspector!

My youngest son who lives 200 miles away came to visit for the weekend. He, another of my sons, and I were eating lunch at the kitchen table. They were joking around and I realized I was actually laughing, something I haven't done in a long time. It felt good

Barely surviving after a funeral. Been a tough week.

Sorry to read of sadness. It's dark, cold, and very windy here... it was snowing earlier, but at least it didn't last.

At the moment I'm taking a break and looking for something interesting on the net. lol! The weather must be nice in other places because things are quiet.

The past days have been busy, busy. Today Cheryl, Kevin and I delivered an apple and a cherry pie I baked plus the 3 dozen coolies Cheryl baked to the volunteer fire department for their fish fry this evening. Went to Terri's to feed the cats and then picked up lunch at DQ and ate at Amber's with them. Then we all came here and they worked on enlarging my chicken pen, by the time everyone went home I was cold and tired. The sun was out but the wind was cold.

Glad the day has almost ended... Day 2 of a 2 day garage sale. Very damp and dreary, but we did well, and sent a good amount of 'stuff'' on to new homes and the Goodwill. Didn't keeps much. but plenty of messes & reorganizing what has been sifted and shaken up. Bed is calling.

Yesterday I was too tired to respond. I spent a couple of hours wrestling the rototiller around the garden to get it ready for the veggies. The model of the rototiller is "Super Bronco". I've determined that is because if you encounter a rock, or a root, or a hard patch of dirt, it jumps around like a bronco trying to throw you off the handles, so it can take off.

We had a busy day, starting with an early breakfast, out to visit Costco and a couple of other stores, then back to do some much needed pruning on some trees.

I love to prune and cherish my good ol ' Felco saws, which can slice through limbs like a knife through butter! No, you cannot borrow one! ;-)

Such a pretty day for some yard work, sunny, coolish, a little breezy.

We were ready to come for happy hour!

I too have a Super Bronco tiller, they do a great job. We don't use it though to till up the garden, our son in law does it with his John Deere and tiller. The Bronco gets to go up and down the rows of veggies. I used to use it a lot, but don't any more, our other son in law uses it or or daughter uses her tiller, which is smaller than the Bronco. It is too wet here for gardening yet, more rain coming this morning. As they say, that is what makes the little chicks grow!

Saturday was chilly! We stopped to get a barrel and flowers with which to fill it. It was good getting my hands dirty. Purple petunias, white begonias, and some pretty yellow flowers with taller stalks. Shoulda gotten something spiky. I did get some coleus too. Yellow with burgundy spots.

I had a fun weekend! I'm newly engaged and spent the weekend checking out beautiful venues. I think we've decided on a pretty park overlooking the ocean. I'm crossing my fingers that they have availability later this year!
