Entertainment Weekly, or EW. Google that. I haven't read it yet, either, but don't have time right now... should be a doozy. Plus, I want to watch the Ponderosa episodes.

Ken I think it is a loose term these days. Most blogs are like diaries, where one person writes about his observations, thoughts on any given subject. Some blogs allow others to comment, but the focus is around what the blogger writes, not the guests, and he gets to decide what gets on the site. This is a forum, where anyone can post a subject and comment about any post, and everything is out in the open, and up for grabs (as we've seen :-). Does that make any sense? There IS a difference and perhaps someone else can explain it better than moi. -Babka

Sue, You must be wondering about Rob. His problem seems to have been dehydration and he appeared to have his strength back for the challenge. Both teems seem to be coming to a boiling point. It looks like James is becoming VERY angry. I wish they would have seen that at tribal counsel and just sent him home at that time. The team felt that Stephane was the weekest, but Amanda got almost as many votes. I really wanted the Villians to go to counsel, but it was the Heroes again. I was hopeing the Villians would go to counsel and see the need to get rid of Russell first thing, but I think he might be re-thinking his way of playing the game. In the previews for next week, apparently James blows up again and it looked like he could be violent, but you know how they edit to mislead us.

coach is annoying. i wish he would go. listen to the things he says. "those people need to win" "those people need to...." he's one of those people and doesn't feel he's accountable. he's the only one with the experience being out in the "jungle". get a grip. if you have so much experience, use it and use it to lead and to win. i don't think taj got the idol yet, but does know where it is. previews showed taj getting upset about something and the other cast members making comments about that's the way to get the boot. notice this year all the women have bathing suits? think that had anything to do with last year everyone in their bra and panties.

I agree, Ralph knows what he's doing--he is not dumb. At first when Phil brought up the race card, I was absolutely offended because I don't think for one second that was Steve's intention. But as Jeff dug deeper with his questions, I began to see perhaps what Philip has had to endure in his past. Face it, none of us are black men (I don't think), and I believe there is some deep pain there. I actually think Philip is playing a good game in that someone (Rob?) will want to take him to the end because he has offended so many people. I do think he should temper himself, though, or he may become intolerable to even his own team. Rob is brilliant, and deserves to have a shot at the final tribal council. I'd love to see Matt come back and take him out, but I think Matt is starting to crack. Rob is cool as a cucumber.

Steph,
I really like the way he writes this up. He sounds like he is so excited by the way he words things.

I always envy people who are great with words.

One thing he didn't mention, and I would love to see, is the reaction of the jury during all that was happening.

Last week after I read his blog I posted a comment to him. I wanted to ask him why at every tribal council he says "I'll go tally the votes" when he does no such thing...he's been saying it from the get go and it annoys the heck out of me...lol.
Haven't had a chance to go back and see if he answered me, maybe I'll do that tonite.

Suzan, I have seen an interview in the past where he admits they arrange the votes in the most dramatic order. And they know the result. All for the effect of drama. So yes, they do count the votes, for Jeff. Obviously the cameraman at the voting booth knows what everyone voted. But Jeff doesn't.
