The elimination was AMAZING and very surprising.

I didn't see that coming. I want Phil to stay. I would've voted out one of the men. Phil may be weird, but I cannot stand looking at the farmer and all his back hair. He's almost illiterate. Has he ever spelled a person's name correctly?

I understand why they would keep Phil, he has alienated everyone so there is no way he would win if in the final 2. He really appears to be off his rocker.

I was pulling for Phil before last night. Such a load of crap pulling the race card, really get tired of that. It minimizes when real racial situations happen.

They prob will keep him because he is so annoying and offending so many. I agree Lily it should be mandatory that R a l f (is that how you spelt eee it?, haha) puts his shirt on and keeps it on, gag.

I hope Matthew wins it all. That sucks what is happening to him. I don't think it's going to get too exciting til it's down to the last 6 and I hope, hope, hope Rob does NOT win.

I think Rob deserves to win--he has played the game brilliantly. It's time for Phil to go...playing the race card was beyond the limit of acceptable behavior.

Rob isn't my choice for winning, but he is playing an excellent game. The fact that so many are following him like zombies doesn't say anything bad about his game, it makes them stupid, mindless players. The trouble is, eventually Rob is going to have to back-stab his followers, and then (unless they are totally brainwashed) they will not want to vote for him.

If Mike and Matt can manage to get back at just the right time, they can turn the tide and send home Rob and Phil.

I was dissapointed when Julie was voted off. I LOVE the pants thing. I can't figure out why Jeff pushed that issue to let Phil know who did it. I imagine Julie figured it was her last chance to get even (unless she comes back from RI.)

It was a very good show. I no longer think Phil is just "PLAYING" a nut-case -- he IS one!

The race card was stupid, and I can't figure if Phillip is nuts or is playing the game. I want him to stay, because he's entertaining. I can't figure the Julie vote although it was rotten of her to bury his shorts. I guess they wash their clothes, and that's why Phil was in his pink underwear. Ralph is so dumb. How can someone not know how to spell Phil?..As I said before., I never liked Rob before but love him this time. He's smart and playing the game perfectly.

I think Ralph is also playing a game...he is not that dumb.

katlan has it right - bringing up race just for the sake of an argument robs the legitimacy of real situations.

At first when Phil brought up the race card, I was absolutely offended because I don't think for one second that was Steve's intention. But as Jeff dug deeper with his questions, I began to see perhaps what Philip has had to endure in his past. Face it, none of us are black men (I don't think), and I believe there is some deep pain there. I actually think Philip is playing a good game in that someone (Rob?) will want to take him to the end because he has offended so many people. I do think he should temper himself, though, or he may become intolerable to even his own team.

Rob is brilliant, and deserves to have a shot at the final tribal council. I'd love to see Matt come back and take him out, but I think Matt is starting to crack. Rob is cool as a cucumber.

I didn't get to see it last night, so watched it online just now. I don't know if Phillip is crazy, as in mentally, but he was sure off on another planet. I'm not very good at figuring out all the nuances in that kind of situation. I would be afraid of Phillip.

I liked the way Jeff tried to explain Phillip's thinking and his mindset, especially when it proved Phillip to be wrong.

Anyway, on to next week.

I think Rob is playing a brilliant game. Phil needs to stay because even though he is crazy he is very entertaining. I think the show might be boring without him. The others aren't very interesting. I'm sick of Matt. Send him home. Please.

I think Rob is playing a brilliant game too . . . but only because he has a bunch of zombies following his every order! I mean, come on, even Rob can't believe he has the power of the Godfather and Charles Manson all rolled into one. They're starving, yet they wouldn't eat the fish because Rob said it was 'bad'?!? So they watched the others eat it . . . and none of them had any adverse affects . . . wouldn't you think they'd start to question Rob's authority?

I don't even have the words to describe Phillip, but I think Jeff is enjoying him more than any other player in Survivor history. And no matter how loony he is, he really is the most entertaining thing on the island . . .

I too am sick of Matt whining. And if I wanted a sermon, I'd go to church. He must have POed God to be in his situation again.

Boston Rob is without doubt the best player and deserves to win it all.
