What job do you hate doing?

I love to bake/cook and iron and housework is ok but I hate to empty the diswasher. Don't know why.

What job in house do you hate to do?

Hi cmama!

I love to do laundry and don't mind ironing/mending.

Don't mind doing dishes and cooking 1-pot meals. Don't like to bake.

Like to orgainze and light clean, but hate the sweeper.

Would rather let most things wait than have someone help with anything.

In saying that: there are some days nothing gets done and I hope that no one comes to the door for a visit...LOL!

cmama: I was also a dishwasher unloader hater...that is until I timed myself one day. It took me just over 3 minutes, so then I decided it wasn't such a horrible task after all!

I really hate changing the bedsheets! Especially if I'm doing all 5 beds on the same day.

Kathsgrdn - I was going to say the same about the blue tooth thing. You really need to be on the phone so much that it has to be glued to your ear? And you look ridiculous walking around talking to yourself. It drives me crazy. The trend I really hate is how people use cell phones, as mentioned in many posts above. Yes, I've used my in public, but I try to make it short. I see people walking around a store in deep conversation. Hey, I don't want to hear your conversation. Take it outside! Once when I was in Starbucks, a women couldn't even pry the phone off her ear long enough to place her order. She instead grabbed one of the business cards on the counter, wrote down her order, and threw it at the barista. She talked the entire time, took her drink and left. The barista and cashier were floored. They couldn't believe the nerve. Don't even get me started on people using cell phones when driving. Zeetera - really, you don't like scarves other than in winter? There are some cute linen ones for the spring.

Chi I didn't add that he does do this for me and often unasked. He isn't the bad guy here, just knows how much else there is to do. Like changing the kitchen and bathroom floors and putting in a downstairs bathroom shower. Also screening the porch and fixing the drywall in the kitchen etc.....it's a long list and he does it all. He does any chore that is needed whenever he's home. :) Thank you for the support though. :)

I've had my Kohler Clairette for at least 10 years (kept it when I renovated my kitchen because I liked it so well) and I've never had a problem with functionality or finish. The spray stays on until I switch it to stream (and vice versa) with a little toggle button. It would bug me to have to hold a button to keep the spray on, or if it reset when I turn off the water. I don't have a problem with it not going back in place. However, if you pull down the sprayer/head and just leave it, it will dangle; it doesn't retract on its own. But the magnet is strong enough to hold it in place once the head is back near the starting point. (My BF leaves it dangling sometimes just to annoy me.) <<(after I wrote that I realized that sounds kinda dirty, but I'm talking about the faucet!) FWIW I got mine from Kohler. I've read that the big box stores might sell the same brands but lesser quality - not sure how that works but just saying. ETA: do you have a Pirch, Kohlers showroom, or similar store near you that has faucets hooked up to water sources? That might help make a decision. My mom bought a Grohe years ago that she replaced after just a couple months because the sprayer didn't stay on without holding the button. Had she been able to test it she would have known and never purchased it. It was a $500+ faucet that the store wouldn't let her return.

I agree with others. STOP the install. Even though those costs are already made, changing 20% is much better than changing 100%. What types of floors do not hurt your body? Then go with that, if possible. If that won't work for the situation, you may want to research other LVT that has more cushioning? Padding and thick underlayments are a no-no for LVT. As pointed out, wood always is a beautiful option. Obviously, ceramic and porcelain are out. Good luck!

I hate emptying the dishwasher too and I hate vacuuming the furniture. I don't like to bake because I am not very good at it.

Scrubbing bathrooms is icky! I don't mind unloading the dishwasher since it's quick and makes me feel accomplished, but HATE putting away clean clothes. I would leave them folded in the basket forever if I could!

Once a week I get out a ladder & water geraniums, that are up high. In the summer they live on the decks. I'm afraid of banging wood furniture or water staining when I water plants!

I dislike cleaning the tub and shower. Cleaning the toilet is the quickest, easiest job. I also dislike loading the dishwasher. I love to bake and don't mind cooking.

I hate laundry. To me it is the most thankless job ever! I get all the laundry done on the weekends and to me there is no greater sense of accomplishment than when I go in to the bathroom and the laundry baskets are empty. I love it. As soon as I get all the laundry done and we get ready for bed all of our dirty clothes go in the laundry baskets and I have to start all over.

Mopping or vacuuming they hurt my back so badly. That is why I love my Roomba and wish I had the Scooba for the mopping.

I hate emptying the dishwasher too but I know why ... I'm short and putting everything away is such a hassle and I hate dragging my step-stool out.

I absolutely hate all of it. I don't do any of it anymore since I have someone come in and clean once a week. Best money I ever spent.

Ironing!!! I like to wash dishes but hate putting them away. I dont have a dishwasher. Folding clothes is second on my list of things I hate.

I love walking through the grocery store, shopping and looking. I don't mind putting things away once the bags are in the kitchen. I HATEHATEHATE getting the bags from the store to the car and then from the car into the house!

I HATE unloading the dishwasher, even though it's the easiest job to do. Not sure why I find it so annoying. Since its just DH and myself, thankfully I don't have to unload daily like I did when the kids were home. I also hate unloading the groceries. Hmmmmm....I'm sensing a pattern here!

I'm with LesterD....I hate putting the groceries away...we live in a loooong house...the kitchen is in the middle and I run myself to death between the kitchen where the bags are piled, the freezer in the garage, and the bathrooms/closets where the paper goods are stowed...yikes :^)

I don't do dishes have my husband for that since he refuses to get a dishwasher. I really hate to iron as that was my Saturday job as a kid, with 10 in the family that was most times at least 2 baskets full.

Do you remember the pop bottle with a thingie on top to sprinkle the clothes? Then would roll them up & place back in basket until ready to iron.
