Well, I already had two stamps on it and I asked the clerk to check to see if I had enough postage on it. He said no even before he weighed it. He said it was a parcel. I said apparently you didn't get the memo. He said I go by what my book tells me and proceeded to read me the same old stuff they always tried to go by. I said I know all that stuff already and this memo says that it is wrong. He said that he would have to talk to his supervisor and then continued to try and tell me that if it varied in thickness by more than 1/4" it was a parcel. I read him the requirements from the memo and told him that he needed to get the supervisor for me. Finally he got the supervisor and the supervisor read the post that you put on here and said, "Yes, that's right." He told the clerk that it should be a large envelope and the clerk was still babbling on about the 1/4" difference in size. The supervisor said that from now on cushion mailers under 3/4" in thickness would go as a large envelope. I asked him if he would like to keep the post and he said no that he would print out the memo and make sure that everyone understood it. I don't think that they were any to happy. I had to pay an extra penny in addition to the stamps that I already had on it but that's better than $1.13. Hopefully that battle is won but I'm keeping the post with me when I go back.

thank you henry kuska, and bellegallica for responding, I had been doing advanced searches for Tea roses on the Antique rose forum, (without using the "go" prompt) with no results. after I followed your advice, henry I went to google advanced search and entered "Tea rose" and prompted for words that I did not want searched for as "Hybrid Tea" -on gardenweb.com which was too much to hope for, because what came up next on google advanced/gardenweb.com was this message "no documents found" Now that I've removed the prompt of Hybrid Tea for "unwanted words" there are many threads listed together under the prompting of Tea and Hybrid Tea at garden web.com Thank you very much for your help. fwiw - I am having same problems for over a month. I posted on the "suggestions forum": safari problems/suggestions forum my last post there: UPDATE: I was okay for a day or two - but it's back to "400 Bad Request". mary4b's message prompted me to contact them again. I was willing to change browsers in order to access the site - not ideal, tho. It's a pain to claer cache (w safari) everytime I want access. Yes, all browsers have that save ability which is great. Anyone can do this without spending a dime. The important thing is that GW folks know that they can keep these threads and images for later. The key is that these are all snapshots in time so you have to go back and update if you want everything on the thread. I will say that Evernote, Soho Notes and other applications make it a bit easier to save this stuff to folders and to search later. And one more thing about Evernote is that you sync to a free online version so that you can check your clippings on a different computer or smart phone. You're not tied to one computer. One more thing if you're a Mac user. You can save anything as a PDF without Adobe. Just hit Command-P as if you are going to print. In the bottom left corner of the dialogue box it says PDF with a carrot for more options. One of the options is to save as a PDF. And there you go.
