tankless water heater exhaust

DH here. Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but thought I'd try here first.

As we work our way through this multi-year remodel, we are planning on adding radiant heat (hopefully before winter gets here) and a tankless water heater.

Since they are going to be mounted right next to each other, I'm wondering if there's any reason why they can't both be plumbed into a single exhaust vent. Have heard in the past that this shouldn't be done because of the extreme heat put out by tankless water heaters, but I think that discussion centered more around the inability to plumb a tankless into a pre-existing sheet metal vent system. Since we'd obviously be using the special double-wall stainless exhaust vent, and both the water heater and the boiler are powered exhaust, I can't see that there'd be a reason why this wouldn't work.

Thoughts, anyone...?
