Cassia 'Cinnamon' - not real???!!!

DH pointed out this article in last Wednesday's Wash Post food section. (WashPost will make you sign in, so this links to the same article in ContraCostaTimes):

Cinnamon Toast: The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

Ironically, the only kind of cinnamon I haven't ever bought at Penzey's is Ceylon cinnamon. Now, I'm feeling a real need to make the trek to Penzey's to buy some. I just bought a big bottle of Cassia at Costco for $2.99, because I didn't want to drive 50 miles round trip to Penzey's just for cinnamon.

Maybe I really have been living under a rock, but am I the only person who didn't know that Cassia cinnamon is considered b*stard cinnamon and can't be legally sold in England and Australia?? It still tastes cinnamon-y to me, but boy, I really want to taste some Ceylon cinnamon now!
