Beware of Honey and Cinnamon

If you have any sensitivity to salicylates ,use this with caution. I do have allergies to salicylates and was aware that cinnamon contained some salicylates but I have never had a problem with small amounts.

So for 3 days I tried 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. To-day I reacted to it. I react in different ways to different salicylates and this reaction was not as bad as many, however, I guess it isn't for me.

I don't want to alarm anyone and I certainly do think it is worth a try, IF you don't have this particular problem.

I'd like to hear others opinion regarding its effectiveness.

I'm wondering if honey, by itself would be any benefit for arthritis or if anything besides cinnamon could be used with it.
