Devilled eggs? For Easter??

I keep and serve mine in a plastic lidded egg container designed to hold the eggs. Nothing fancy but practical.

My egg dish holds 18 halves, perfect for us. It is ceramic with a pink floral design.

I have an old egg dish that I won at a church dinner back when I was a teenager. It's nothing fancy, but it works - brings back old memories too!

I have a pair of deviled egg dishes that I REALLY like! Someone here helped me purchase them several years ago as they worked in a store that sold them. They are very plain, white ceramic, and look much like egg cartons without the lids. Instead of cutting the egg in half lengthwise, I just cut the tops off to get to the yoke. After preparing the yoke mixture, I pipe it into the eggs. They stand up in the dish, just like in an egg carton. I like to decorate them with fresh borage flowers.

I add Mayo and a sprinkle of paprika to the yolks. Sometimes a little salt and mustard powder.

I found a couple of pics from a couple of years ago.

I have a couple of Deviled egg plates...but they don't hold enough for my family...So I put them in a ceramic retangle dish that is shaped like a cake pan...and I fill it up...

I plan to dye my Deviled eggs this year..if I get around to it...I also plan to make easter cookies...."plan" is the key word.

Real nice looking deviled eggs Donna L. I did unpack my deviled egg plate and it holds 12 plus room for a few more in the center. That is enough for our meal, that way I won't have a lot of them left. I too have the plastic lidded ones and they are good to store or take eggs in. Two Rubbermaid ones and one Tupperware one. I also have several different glass ones and do use those for other meals.

I use either Miracle Whip or Mayo in mine plus, some sugar, and some mustard. Not a lot of any of it. Some times I like to boil more eggs than I need and use the extra yolks so they will be nice and full and of course paprika on the top. Then I just eat the egg whites that are left over :)

I love your egg dish, and they look so beautiful the way you decorated them.

I was going to skip eggs this year, but you make me think again about it.

I have a tupperware carrying trays that fit in the rectangular box if I am taking to someone elses party.

If I am serving I have a pretty, round 'sandwich glass' egg plate.

I also like to sprinkle a tiny bit of dill and a fine slice of olive on top of finished eggs.

Donna, I have never, EVER seen deviled eggs that look like that! They are little works of art! I slice mine the long way and I'm proud if I just get the filling back in them...let alone look that beautiful!

practical plastic egg server with lid, holds 18 halves. Actually, it's half full in the fridge right now. My gang loves them, so I make them often just because. They are great for breakfast and snacks as well as with a meal. DD took 2 to gymnastics today for a quick protein snack.

To the filling, I add sour cream. Did it once b/c I didn't have quiet enough mayo and thought a spoonful of sour cream will make it the right consistency and probably not taste bad. Not only was it "not bad" it was really good! Made if fluffier. Just a heaping tablespoon or so added to the mayo and yolk, not that I substitute it for the mayo.

I add a little sweet pickle to my egg yolk mixture. mmmmm...delicious.

I have a deviled egg tray that holds 24. You put it in the freezer. It has a gel inside.

The frozen insert goes inside another pan with a lid.

It really works great at picnics. The eggs stay cold and safe.
