I like the look also.

I just purchased the Westbrass "Goshon" in Victorian bronze on ebay and have not installed yet so can't give you an actual usage report. It is great quality and I really look forward to having it installed.

Some of the issues to consider when researching:

Water pressure: Do you have enough for the higher arc?

Height: Sounds like you have that one covered since you researched it before. Some of them look like they would take over the kitchen, stick up too high in front of the window, etc.

Spout reach: Some don't reach as far as a regular pull out faucet unless you get the type with the wall attach hose. That was a little too commercial for me.

Finishes: They are more limited than standard faucets. I wanted one that worked with copper and was happy to find this one in a soft bronze color.

Quality: There is a cheap off brand copy of these faucets on Overstock. It has a plastic nozzle at the end of the water supply hose and has some negative reviews posted. It is the same price as the one I purchased which is all brass and seems like it could withstand anything.

I found that "semi professional faucet" was a productive google phrase.

I'm bumping this because I'd like to know more about pre-rinse faucets too. Anyone else have one? Datura, what is it you loved so much about your son's faucet?

I purchased a Blanco Master Gourmet and didn't install it for reasons that didn't have to do with the faucet itself - it was gorgeous, heavy, and had both a spout and a pre-rinse spigot out of stainless steel - really lovely and clearly extremely well-made.

Ikea also has a pre-rinse style faucet. Bought but haven't installed yet.. got some good recommendations on here for it though. I considered using a commercial unit but that would have been harder to fit in the space available.

I am doing a pre rinse in our scullery sink. I found one that isn't quite so tall also. It is the T & S Brass mini. Like the look, like the size.
I was going to do commercial also as even the good ones are priced decently, they are just so tall and not quite housey enough. We own restaurants so really did not want that look at home.

I don't use it alot since it is at my son's place (part of our house - what do you call it - mother-in-law apartment) but the spray is so even and you can pull it down and spray 1/2 inch above a plate and you don't get any splashing. Same thing with rinsing the sides of the sink - rinses it off in no time and doesn't splash. We live in the country and have a well so we may not be getting as much pressure as in town.
