Probably my instinct for creating new recipes in my head and having them work out successfully.
And since I've been fairly successful at it, I actually HAVE been interviewed--in the newspaper, on radio and on TV, in magazines and books--about that skill.
Understand, though--I take very little credit for that talent. It's just something I was born with, like being born with blue eyes. Only thing I can take credit for is finding ways to USE it to make a few extra $$$ for my family.
I guess the same as Linda...the ability to come up with a theme concept, planning, cooking, decorating & emceeing any special occasion from 25 to 250 people. Been outgoing all of my life & love creating a fun time for all.
I'd have to say, raising the number of Eastern Bluebirds in two counties. Setting up a trail of 14 boxes to be monitored and checked out weekly (at least). From the time the 'pair' start looking for a nesting site/box until the last batch fledge. I was interviewed for our paper here in Fremont. Leslie
Well...kind of lacking in the talent dept. I can raise baby possums, hybridize waterlilies and La. irises, and I am very good at naming cats, but I think my best talent is finding really good junk for free or very cheap.
I'm a graphic designer with experience and knowledge in wide range of design software and projects but am known as a Powerpoint guru.
I've created thousands of presentations with three different applications over the last 15 years. And before that created them by hand on vue-graphs and flip charts going back to practically the stone age. :-)
I think mine would being a therapist or an advocate for someone needing help. My DH has spent the last 30 years with phone calls in the middle of the night, people showing up on our doorstep, all needing help. I am a mother lion when it comes to dealing with arrogant doctors when someone I am close to isn't getting the appropriate care.
Art I'm an artist, I do oils, watercolors, sculpture, carvings and make pottery. I could talk a bit about that ;-) (about ten hours non stop, I LOVE it)
Greeting folks, even strangers, with a smile and a jaunty, humourous expression ... that often brings a smile to light up the faces of the targets.
Now that I don't have more important things to do - such as helping folks make more effective use of their income and assets, often avoiding some former tax costs, as well: that brings a smile to folks' faces, as well!
