Photoshop Help Can you please put this tile in my kitchen?

Looking for someone who knows how to use photoshop. Would love to see this tile in my kitchen. Could you please help? Thank you!

I don't Photoshop, but just to make it a tad easier for those who can, I'm putting a live link to the tile below.

Just assuming that you want it on the backslash area rather than the counter tops? You don't say in your post.

Thank you!!! We went to the kitchen store yesterday (during a nasty snow storm!) and we looked at a ton of options. I can't tell you how dang difficult it was to figure out which light countertops would look nice with our natural maple cabinets. HOWEVER, the options opened up when we decided to take the plunge and stain our island a darker color. We picked up some stain and I think our favorite is red mahogany. Zodiaq Cygnus Pearl really stands out with that (and stainless steel hardware). I have no idea what we'll do for the rest of the kitchen. We might- just might- think about staining the rest of the kitchen cabinets a shade or two darker but I'm not sold on that. That would be a serious pain in the you-know-what and I doubt dh would go for it. We're also going to change out our undercabinet lighting to something more effective (Xenon pucks). Thanks again for all your input. Hopefully in several months I'll be able to post an updated photo and maybe next year I'll have yet another updated photo with the rest of the kitchen! Astrid

Lyno! Thanks for the picture. It may not be exactly what I'm going to do (my tile is more like petra's) but nevertheless, it gives me a good idea of what it will look like. I have tried twice this morning to download a picture of the entire kitchen from photobucket. Each time I get a warning that my computer is infected with some virus and it wants me to download something (I don't download anything that comes up like that). Right now I'm scanning with my anti-virus software (which is updated and run daily). I think photobucket has a problem. So pix will have to wait. I have attempted to post this message twice. It is getting shorter each time. LOL The island countertop is going to be cherry. The floor is beige-ish tile (hate it, but it is fairly new and DH loves it. I'll just cover it in oriental rugs like I've done since it was installed.). The black DW is going to go but it will be several years. The will be a large darkish wood (walnut?) antique sideboard also in the room. I appreciate all your comments, suggestions and help.

Mona, thank you, that definitely gives me an idea of what it could look like and I truly appreciate your help! Linnea, my counter is Santa Cecilia Light and the backsplash is from DalTile, it's a very pale taupe matte finish tile. Scoobyruby & Annie, I'd be the first person to admit there is nothing wrong with these cabinets. However, for the past ten years, I've had cherry cabinets and these are similar in color being that they are maple with a cherry stain. I really have "painted cabinet envy" and every time I see a beautiful kitchen with ivory cabinets, I drool....my poor keyboard has taken a beating ;) I found beautiful hardware in a black wrought iron finish that is just what I wanted. I am also planning on painting the walls after the cabinets are painted, either in a dark taupe or mossy green. My kitchen is situated in the center of the first floor and only receives indirect sunlight. That's another reason why I'd like them done in a light paint, to brighten up the kitchen. As it is, it's just too dark for me. I do appreciate all the opinions, keep 'em coming!

Can't help with the photoshop.....but have to say I love the tile you chose. I 'wouldn't' go up and over the window. I think it will draw your eye to the window, and don't think that's what you want. Having tile up there will also make hanging WT's a real pain! If it were my kitchen, I'd trim out the window with wood molding and then have the backsplash butt up to the sides of it.

Young-thanks so much. Glad you like it. I was worried about pulling it all together. Stuck on the splash though as I am still trying to tie in all the elements into the splash.I think I want to have the tile a little darker than the uppers and to warm enough for the red birch.

lukkirish-Wow you did a great job. I really wanted to see just how busy the mini versalies pattern would be. So that picture helped alot. Now I know it's too busy for me. They also have a large versallies pattern. But now I wonder if even that would be too busy for me. Brick may be best. The mini was more interesting on the board sample, but a whole backsplash I think is a different story! Here is the large:

Quite a bit of difference in size.

I have considered just a neutral tile but I feel it does nothing for the upper cabinets. So still undecided on having color or neutral.

I like the Mongolian Desert brick too. It seems like it would be enough variety in size and colors, but not so busy.

This tile has 34 different things to go with it. So I could even do something over the stove?

If I get this I would NOT enhance it as it turns quite a bit darker. So I also have a concern that if I only seal it but not enhance it, it may look chalky? Do you have a slate or stone you did not enhance? Do you like it?

lukkirish-would you be able to do this one more time for me and put in the brick? Thanks so much either way. The one you photoshopped for me is the one I REALLY needed to see. I was able to eliminate that shape right away.
