Or, pick a style you like that will be around for a little while, and buy yourself a batch every now and then--as a reward, or for your birthday. What a great job. And LOOK LOOK LOOK! A big stretch of empty shelf! (wanna suggestion? You know I always have them. Get at least one more, but even better two more, sweater shelves. So you can have shorter stacks. Esp. w/ those shelves, the shelf itself doesn't take up that much room. But I bet it'll be easier to maneuver your clothes, and you'll be more likely to wear the clothes at the bottom of the stack. AND get another shelf to go under that short one in the bottom picture.) As always, I'll spend your money for you, LOL! And how neat to know that Elfa has the rods now--sounds like they listened to some customer feedback! I have this wacky closet that's long and skinny, and I keep meaning to go to the Container Store or Easy Closets and get a plan from them. But, we're supposed to be moving now, so it seems an unfruitful diversion of energy. But I have vowed, wherever we end up, I want to get a good set of infrastructure in there. (And Elfa seems like it would be flexible--you could shift things around without starting completely over)

Thanks so much for responding. Does anyone have a suggestion for an ashen green? I don't know what that is. hoyamom - I never thought of blue for the ceiling. That's sounds interesting. I had thought about a gray/blue for the walls before we brought in the green chair. I really like the combination of blue and tan. lindybarts - any suggestion from you is like a pearl of wisdom. I LOVE your house! I think I may have to do a larger sample of Svelte Sage o the walls. I don't think it is too gray. Actually, in our DR it is a very nice green. However, we had a green bedroom in our old home and I fell out of love with it pretty quickly. It was more of a blue green, though (with a differnt comforter, etc.) I'm just afraid of painting a color that I'm not in love with. I don't want to be unhappy with my choice in two months. I already have painter's remorse in other areas of my home. And since we are hiring painters for this, I feel a little more pressure to pick the "right" color. Any thoughts on Svelte Sage for the walls with a beige on the ceiling so the crown would show up more?

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at pics on the internet for Cumulus Cloud and that looks good. Next I will check out Revere Pewter and Owlet. I have looked at tons of pictures but it is still hard to tell about undertones unless you can ask the person. And I know I should get the test pots and do but we live about 75 minutes away from any of the big box stores and such, so I really just want to pick a color and then go get it next time I have to make a trip up there. I saw some nice pics of Valspar "Flagstone" and I have that chip here too. I like it but it may be a bit dark. Thanks for all the help.

I am glad I posted as I was for sure taking those blinds down but now I don't think I will. Have you ever seen the "decorative" drapes on the super short poles that go on either side of the window to "frame" it yet it is impossible to draw the drapes closed because they are all scrunched up to be about a foot long on a foot long decorative pole. I doubt I am explaining myself well but i was thinking in terms of this b/c I don't want to ever bother closing the drapes nor do I need to and nor do I want all that material. this kind of "frames" the window. I have seen it on HGTV but can't figure out how/where to buy this I will look into RH...Any other ideas or mind readers out there that know WHAT I am talking about? :)
