Surgery Is over...I Made It

The worst part of surgery that damn anestesia yuk I keep tasting it.i' feel a little better today,didnt sleep well last night.

I have dialysis today not sure how that will go.But I made it..

Would these gentlemen find beauty in a Japanese garden? The ability to recognise those qualities can be a struggle for a lot of people because we tend to look for obvious unity, or harmony, order,... We tend to rush to the mystical to explain what we don't understand in order to not feel stupid. We decide that you need to understand eastern religion to be able to produce these gardens. We get caught up in chasing mystical rule systems like Feng-shui rather than accepting that these gardens are made of the same stuff that western gardens are made of - soil, plants, stone, ... Deeper disection reveals earthly design concepts that are what the three wise men above are talking about with both feet planted firmly on the ground and not regarding whether or from which house you pray or where your grandfather came from. But, if we can not get that deep we can simply place it in a box where we can declare it an exclusive thing of a realm where we are not members. Therefore, we obviously could not be expected to understand it. I chose an obviously complicated subject for those obviously deep gentlemen for an analogy. The other half of the analogy can substitute any level of design understanding, whether it is Saypoint's mother, Saypoint herself, me, or you, and placing it against or past that level of understanding. If we don't understand what it is supposed to be, we have no idea of whether we have attained it. So, what do we do? Do we listen to those who are more advanced and try to lift up our awareness? That means a confession that we don't understand something. It also means that we will inherently be talked down to. The other choice is to deny that our understanding is not as advanced as someone else's or that the other person's understanding is wrong or insignificant. That may take the form of discrediting them or by scrambling to justify the short comings in our own understanding by fiercely fending off the critiques that we asked for. It would be much easier to toss it into the mystical box and declare ourselves excluded from understanding due to cultural or religious differences. I'll have to remember to do that. Maybe I'll write a book explaining a mystical concept rather than how form, color, texture, balance, harmony, and unity are acheived. No, that has been done many times. Maybe someone needs to write the book that discusses the practical side rather than the mystical one. But, which will sell more?

Everything looks wonderful Laura, I admire your ability to do so many at once, it will make no excuses for me doing all mine at once ;) I am glad the separation went well, I would have been pretty nervous about it too, you never know how tangled they can get. What size pot did you end up using for your Buddha's hand and tangelo? Where do you get your pots? I love that they are not black and have the lip.

Grinch-I got lapband surgery.They want me to lose 50lbs.I lost 42 but my blood pressure would get in 80s then dr would raise my dry weight,He kept doing this like 8 times,a kilo is 3-4lbs he raised it like 8 times so
I gave up.I was fighting a losing battle.He asked one day if i want to get lapband finally I said just make me an appointment.

I checked in hospital at 9 am ,10:30 they took me up to operating room I was there and recovery till 4:30.we got home 7:30,they said Im the first dialysis patient even in hershey to have this done.They said they had a little trouble working around my kidneys, but got it done.I got 6 holes in my stomach.\
My mouth is really dry for 3-5 days I can only have 2 T.of liquid every 1/2 hour.then for 2 weeks I can add milk ,cream soups at stage 5 I can have almost anything.lookin forward to eatting food again.
